Picking Up Where Trump Left Off, Biden Threatens Sanctions On Germany For Nord Stream 2

Like on many other fronts, most especially China and surprisingly even Iran (which has also left tensions in Iraq at boiling-point), the Biden White House appears content to continue Trump's unbending policy stance on the Russia to Germany Nord Stream-2 pipeline. It was of course the Trump administration that unleashed a series of punitive measures targeting any Western company that attempts to complete work on the project, which did serve to stall its completion, which is said to be at least over 90% constructed.

And now on Tuesday Secretary of State Antony Blinken is threatening Germany with new Biden administration sanctions over the project. Blinken was cited in US-funded RFERL (RadioFreeEurope) as saying it remains "against the European Union's own interests" and publication emphasized he "warned Berlin of possible sanctions over the project."

‘Emergency Brake’ – Merkel’s Germany to Extend and Tighten Lockdown Restrictions

German authorities are expected to extend lockdown measures again on Monday and possibly tighten some restrictions as they face a steady rise in new coronavirus infections.

Chancellor Angela Merkel and the country’s 16 state governors, who in highly decentralized Germany are responsible for imposing and lifting restrictions, are holding a videoconference nearly three weeks after they agreed a several-step plan paving the way to relax some rules.

Since then, infections have increased steadily as the more contagious variant first detected in Britain has become dominant. Most lockdown restrictions are currently set to run through March 28. The chancellery is proposing an extension to April 18th.

German police clash with protesters at Kassel demonstration against Covid-19 restrictions (VIDEO)

Multiple scuffles broke out on the streets of Kassel, Germany as Covid-19 lockdown skeptics and counterprotesters gathered, and police deployed mace and batons to contain the demonstration.

Protests against Covid-19 restrictions in multiple major cities across the country were planned for Saturday, with the biggest occurring in the central German city of Kassel.

According to local media reports, citing police, at least 10 thousand people showed up for a rally there, many of them refusing to wear masks.

The marching protesters chanted “Wir sind das Volk” (“We are the people”) at one point, a slogan commonly used in the past during anti-communism demonstrations in East Germany.

European Scientists Say They Know Why AstraZeneca’s Vaccine Is Causing Rare Blood Clots

Researchers in Germany and Norway say they’ve isolated the cause of extremely rare blood clots caused by AstraZeneca’s vaccine, allowing doctors to treat it.

KEY FACTS

  • Scientists at Greifswald University Hospital said in a statement Friday that in rare instances, the vaccine has created an antibody that triggered the formation of blood clots in the brain.
  • The findings confirm those from an independent team in Norway earlier this week.
  • Isolating the cause has allowed scientists to identify how to treat patients who have developed the blot clots, by giving them intravenous immunoglobulin, which targets the antibody, and blood thinners.

“Very, very few people will develop this complication,” Professor Andreas Greinacher said in a press conference Friday, according to the Wall Street Journal. “But if it happens, we now know how to treat the patients.”

Mass protests across Germany mark one year of anti-coronavirus restrictions (VIDEOS)

Several separate rallies were held in Germany’s capital city of Berlin. The largest one, with some 1,000 people in attendance according to police estimates, began at noon outside the federal health ministry.

The event was not marred by any major incident, the police said, with the officers present at the scene primarily focused on checking that participants were properly masked.

Another large protest was held in the southwestern city of Stuttgart, with hundreds marching through the streets to decry the restrictions. The event has not seen any major incidents either.

Minor clashes between the police and protesters have been reported in the eastern German city of Dresden. Despite failing to secure authorization for the event, hundreds of anti-lockdown activists gathered in the city’s center, while law enforcement tried to push them back and urged them to disperse in an orderly manner.

Angela Merkel’s party takes a hammering in German state elections – exit polls

German Chancellor Angela Merkel’s CDU party has suffered heavy losses in two state elections, as the long-ruling leader fights corruption scandals and looks to choose a successor for this year’s elections.

Voters in the states of Baden-Wuerttemberg and Rhineland-Palatinate went to the polls on Sunday, and by the time exit polls were published that evening, it was clear that they had given Merkel’s Christian Democratic Union (CDU) a drubbing.

The CDU could once count on support from Baden-Wuerttemberg, an industrial state which is home to auto manufacturers Porsche, Daimler, and Mercedes-Benz. However, the Green Party was projected by TV network ZDF to take home 31.5% of the vote, leaving the CDU in second place with 23%, down 4% from 2016. In Baden-Wuerttemberg, the CDU is, and looks set to remain, the junior partner in a coalition with the Greens.

‘F**k, promote, fire’: Editor of Germany’s Bild tabloid steps down amid sexual misconduct investigation

Julian Reichelt, editor-in-chief of German tabloid Bild, has stepped down from his job as the paper’s publisher investigates allegations of sexual misconduct against him. Meanwhile, Bild is gearing up for lawsuits.

Bild’s publisher, Axel Springer, announced on Saturday that Reichelt would be stepping down as editor-in-chief to allow an investigation into his conduct to proceed unhindered. Reichelt will resume editing duties once the allegations against him “have been clarified,” the statement added.

Angela Merkel's CDU 'are hammered in local elections' as German public lose faith in her Covid response with THIRD wave 'as bad as Christmas' predicted next month and new warnings against easing lockdown

Projections for ARD and ZDF public television, based on exit polls and a partial count of votes, indicated that those governors' parties - the environmentalist Greens in Baden-Wuerttemberg and the center-left Social Democrats in Rhineland-Palatinate - were set to finish first, 7 to 9 percentage points ahead of the CDU.

The CDU's showings of about 23% and 26%, respectively, would be the party's worst since World War II in both states.

'To say it very clearly, this isn't a good election evening for the CDU,' said the party's general secretary, Paul Ziemiak. 'We would have liked different, better results.'

Anti-Lockdown Protesters Rally in Berlin to Mark One Year Since Beginning of COVID-19 Restrictions

Around 3 percent of the German population have received two shots of the COVID-19 vaccine, while about 5 percent have received at least one jab, according to the latest data from the Robert Koch Institute.

Protesters are rallying under the slogan "It's enough" in Berlin to mark one year since the first restrictions were enforced in Germany to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic.

?Anti-lockdown protests are expected in several other German cities, while the Bundesliga has postponed all football matches this weekend.

German bill would allow children to change name, legal gender without parents’ consent

A new bill proposed by the German government would allow gender-confused children as young as 14 to change their first name and documented gender on government records, regardless of their parents’ wishes.

The legislation, which was drafted by the Interior Ministry (led by a Christian Democrat) and Justice Ministry (led by a Social Democrat), seeks to overhaul Germany’s documentation requirements, enabling courts to modify gender entries based on a single “expert opinion.” Current — already radically pro-LGBT — German law requires a double assessment.

The rule shift would apply to gender dysphoric minors who try to change their records, with courts deciding “the best interests of the child” in the event of parental pushback.

Exports crash as Brexit red tape kicks in: Trade with Germany slumped in the month after transition period ended, data shows

Trade between the UK and Germany crashed in January amid chaos caused by Brexit and the pandemic.

In the first full month after the transition period ended, Germany’s imports from the UK more than halved compared with the same time a year ago, tumbling 56 per cent to £1.4billion.

The data indicated Germany’s trading relationship with the UK was hit far worse than its dealings with other countries.

Its imports from non-EU states besides Britain fell by 13.9 per cent.

Germany to Sail Warship Into South China Sea to Challenge Its Largest Trade Partner

Washington’s European allies are looking to increase their military presence in Asia as the US puts more focus on the region. German officials announced that Berlin is sailing a warship to Asia in August, and on its return journey, the vessel will transit through the disputed South China Sea.

The transit would mark the first time since 2002 that a German warship sailed through the South China Sea. The US is happy with the news and welcomed what it called “Germany’s support for a rules-based international order in the Indo-Pacific.”

The US frequently sails warships near Chinese-claimed islands in the South China Sea, something that has continued in the early days of the Biden administration. US aircraft carriers have entered the disputed waters in recent weeks, escalating tensions even more.

Just over a week ago, RAIR reported that German police raided a birthday party for Dr. Bodo Schiffmann, a prominent critic of coronavirus lockdown measures. Evidently, police received a tip that one of the members of the party went to the bathroom without wearing a mask.

After Ridiculing Vaccine Skeptics, German Man Develops Severe Paralysis From COVID Vaccination

A German man posted a video online that first shows him right after he dutifully received his COVID vaccine — first in his car, jubilantly making fun of those who warned him that it was dangerous — and then follows him a few days later as he somberly describes his struggles with severe neurological problems — but, of course, he’s not laughing so loud any more…

Transcription and translation provided here:

Qubbi and I got it done! We… just… got… vaccinated. So get vaccinated, otherwise, ewww, there are the unvaccinated! Ewww! There are probably even unvaccinated viewers, urgh!

As you know, last Wednesday I was vaccinated against Corona with the vaccine from AstraZeneca. I got up in the morning, and the first thing that happened was that I fell right on the floor. That happened because my right leg just collapsed under me. I thought to myself, “What’s going on?”

Germans turn to hunting to 'ethically' source food

With her dreadlocks and nose piercing, Shanna Reis doesn't exactly look the part of the camouflage-clad hunter tracking game in the forest.

But the 28-year-old represents a new German generation of enthusiasts concerned about where they get their meat, especially as home cooking sees a resurgence during the pandemic.

Reis was a practising vegetarian for a decade before returning meat to her plate once she got her hunting licence five years ago.

But the only kind that passes her lips these days is fresh game, preferably specimens she's killed and prepared herself.

"It's important to me to know where the meat I eat comes from," she said on the outskirts of her western village Aspisheim near the River Rhine, rifle slung over a shoulder and accompanied by one of her three dogs.

Police in the German capital of Berlin were called out to the area around the Antifa stronghold of Rigaer 94 a total of 717 times in 2020 to deal with incidents ranging from violence to threats and property damage.

Police were called out to the building, which has been partially illegally occupied for years by far-left Antifa militants, to deal with hundreds of different offences, according to a Berlin senate response to a question posed by libertarian Free Democrat MP Paul Fresdforf.

A total of 157 investigations by police revolved around reports of assaults, threats and insults against police officers, while another 90 investigations involved assaults on other people, German newspaper Die Welt reports.

Social Democrat politician Torsten Akmann, whos serves as Berlin Interior Secretary, noted that the area around the squat on Rigastrasse, located in Berlin’s Friedrichshain district, had become “characterized by crimes and administrative offences of the left-extremist scene.”

Luongo: Merkel's War For Germany Is Nearly Over

I give German Chancellor Angela Merkel a lot of grief, and with good reason. She’s the main conduit through which every bad idea in Europe flows.

Merkel, as an agent for Klaus Schwab and the World Economic Forum, is a ruthless destroyer of human potential. Hence, that’s why she’s in charge.

I truly despise everything about her.

But as a political animal she has no peer in Europe. None. Not because she’s so supremely talented but because everyone else is a literal idiot, placed in important positions with the help of the WEF to ensure EU policy conforms to their vision of the future.

Merkel, like the rest, was chosen.

In fact, Merkel’s ineptitude is always on display once she is forced to dabble outside of the EU itself. She rules it with an iron fist but when confronted by nearly anyone else, including a madman like Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, she falls on her face spectacularly.

German Official Leaks Ministry of Interior Report Denouncing Corona as ‘A Global False Alarm’

Germany’s federal government and mainstream media are engaged in damage control after a report that challenges the established Corona narrative leaked from Germany’s Ministry of the Interior.

Some of the report key passages are:

The dangerousness of Covid-19 was overestimated: probably at no point did the danger posed by the new virus go beyond the normal level.

The people who die from Corona are essentially those who would statistically die this year, because they have reached the end of their lives and their weakened bodies can no longer cope with any random everyday stress (including the approximately 150 viruses currently in circulation).

Worldwide, within a quarter of a year, there has been no more than 250,000 deaths from Covid-19, compared to 1.5 million deaths [25,100 in Germany] during the influenza wave 2017/18.

The danger is obviously no greater than that of many other viruses. There is no evidence that this was more than a false alarm.

German Study: Laboratory Accident Most Likely Cause Of Coronavirus Pandemic

Professor Dr. Roland Wiesendanger, a leading German expert in the field of nanotechnology and three-time winner of the prestigious European Research Council Advanced Grant, has completed a one-year, hundred-page study on the origin of the novel coronavirus. Professor Wiesendanger concludes that “both the number and quality of the circumstantial evidence point to a laboratory accident at the virological institute in the city of Wuhan as the cause of the current pandemic.”

In the following, SPR provides an English translation of the official German press release of the University of Hamburg. The hundred-page German study by Prof. Wiesendanger can be found here.

SPR would like to add the following information: The two most recent global pandemics were the 1977 ‘Russian flu’ and the 2009 ‘swine flu’. In both of these cases, modern genetic research indicates that a lab escape was the most likely origin of the pandemic virus (see here and here).

Whistleblower from Berlin nursing home: the terrible dying after vaccination

For the first time, there is an eyewitness report from a Berlin nursing home on the situation after the vaccination. It comes from the AGAPLESION Bethanien Havelgarten retirement home in Berlin-Spandau. There, within four weeks after the first vaccination with the BioNTech/Pfizer vaccine Comirnaty, eight of 31 seniors, who suffered from dementia but were in good physical condition according to their age before the vaccination, died. The first death occurred after only six days, and five other seniors died approximately 14 days after vaccination. The first symptoms of the disease had already appeared shortly after the vaccination. From information available to 2020News the patients have not been duly informed about the risks of this vaccine. One reason being that no detailed information about the novelty of this mRNA vaccine which has only conditionally been certified in the European Union have been provided.

Deutsche Bank quietly moves to bring crypto into play after producing numerous reports bashing its bubble nature

Following multiple surveys harshly criticizing bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, Deutsche Bank seems to finally see the condemned assets as an opportunity, getting into the game with plans for a cryptocurrency custody platform.

According to December’s report from the World Economic Forum, Germany’s biggest bank has already created a Deutsche Bank Digital Asset Custody prototype. The model is reportedly aimed at developing “a fully integrated custody platform for institutional clients and their digital assets, providing seamless connectivity to the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.”

The report, which remained off the media radar until it was highlighted by CoinDesk on Saturday, reveals that Deutsche Bank is preparing a trading and token issuance platform. The step will reportedly combine digital assets with traditional banking services, and will help to manage an array of digital assets and fiat holdings in one simple-to-use platform.

EU Solidarity Cracks as Merkel’s Germany Tightens Borders Against Neighbours

Germany on Sunday implemented tighter border controls on its frontiers with the Czech Republic and Austria’s Tyrol province in an effort to stem the spread of more contagious coronavirus variants.

The new restrictions that took effect at midnight limit entry from those areas to German citizens and residents, truck drivers, transport and health service staff and a few others, who have to register online and show a negative coronavirus test.

Interior Minister Horst Seehofer told the Bild am Sonntag newspaper that the new checks may cause some delays at the border and German police “will not just wave traffic through.”

Infection rates in Germany have been declining steadily in recent weeks but officials are concerned about the possible impact of variants first discovered in Britain and South Africa. Both variants have been reported in Germany but so far appear to account for just a small proportion of cases.

White House Reportedly Holding Internal Talks on Nord Stream 2 as Russian Pipelayer Resumes Work

Washington has slapped two rounds of sanctions on the $10.5 billion Russian-European energy infrastructure project, and has threatened its Western European allies with secondary restrictions. Berlin has rejected the idea of extraterritorial sanctions, but has also reportedly agreed to negotiate with the Biden administration on possible concessions.

Germany and the United States have not yet start direct negotiations on Nord Stream 2, Handelsblatt reports, citing officials and sources in government circles.

The newspaper says the key reason that negotiations have yet to start is that key positions in Washington have yet to be filled, among them counterparts to the staff of Federal Minister of Economic Affairs and Energy Peter Altmaier.

Does The World Need A Gold-Backed Deutsche Mark?

The seeds of sound-money destruction were sown at the 1944 Bretton Woods Conference, which established that US dollars could be held as central bank reserves and were redeemable for gold by the US Treasury at thirty-five dollars an ounce. This was the so-called gold exchange standard, but only foreign central banks and some multinational organizations, such as the International Monetary Fund (IMF), enjoyed this right of redemption. The system depended upon the solemn promise by the US that it would refrain from issuing unbacked dollars. The watershed event that ushered in a new malignant, pure fiat money era occurred on August 15, 1971, when the US abandoned the gold exchange standard in order to stop the drain on the US gold stock.

Coronavirus Scandal Breaking in Merkel’s Germany. False Positives and the Drosten PCR Test

The widely-praised German model of the Angela Merkel regime to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic is now engulfed in a series of potentially devastating scandals going to the very heart of the testing and medical advice being used to declare draconian economic shutdowns and next, de facto mandatory vaccinations. The scandals involve a professor at the heart of Merkel’s corona advisory group. The implications go far beyond German borders to the very WHO itself and their global recommendations.

The entire case for WHO-mandated emergency lockdown of businesses, schools, churches and other social arenas worldwide is based on a test introduced, amazingly early on, in the Wuhan, China coronavirus saga.

Germany’s Ministry of the Interior Hired Scientists to Justify “Tough Corona Measures”

The following text is a translation of an article published in Die Welt am Sonntag, which reveals a secret plan by Germany’s Ministry of the Interior to justify repressive social measures pertaining to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The intent was to deliberately trigger a fear campaign based on what might be described “fake science”.

A “worst-case scenario” was calculated according to which more than a million people in Germany could die of the coronavirus if social life were to continue as it was before the pandemic”.

The original article in German is published below. Translation by Global Research.

The secret plan had been revealed in May 2020 by a Ministry of the Interior official.

In May GR published an article entitled German Official Leaks Ministry of Interior Report Denouncing Corona as ‘A Global False Alarm’.

As reported by Der Spiegel on May 15, “Stephen Kohn, the whistleblower working for the Ministry of Interior was fired”.

Germany Offered Washington to Spend €1 Billion Aiding US LNG Imports If US Ended Sanctions on Nord Stream 2

The German government offered the Trump administration financial support of up to €1 billion ($1.21 billion) in a bid to prevent Washington from imposing sanctions on the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, according to documents published by the non-profit Environmental Action Germany (DUH) Tuesday.

The controversial pipeline, which is nearing completion, would double the amount of natural gas delivered annually from Russia to Germany.

What did Germany allegedly offer?
The DUH published a personal letter from German Finance Minister Olaf Scholz to former US Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin.

Scholz allegedly offered funding for the import of liquefied natural gas (LNG) from the US.

In return, the US was asked to allow the “unhindered construction and operation of Nord Stream 2.”

Achtung Baby! (It's Cold Outside) – Germany's "Green" Energy Fail Rescued By Coal And Gas

Germany’s held up as the world’s wind and solar capital. But, at the moment, the ‘green’ stuff can’t be purchased, at any price.

Its millions of solar panels are blanketed in snow and ice and breathless, freezing weather is encouraging its 30,000 wind turbines to do absolutely nothing, at all. [Note: don’t forget about the constant supply of electricity from the grid that these things chew up heating their internal workings so they don’t freeze up solid!]

So much for the ‘transition’ to an all wind and sun powered future – aka the ‘Energiewende’.

Despite being the object of consternation and much vilification over the last 20 years, Germany’s coal-fired plants are now being appreciated for what they are: truly meaningful power generation sources, available on demand, whatever the weather. With a Nationwide blackout a heartbeat away, the German obsession with unreliable wind and solar is like a time bomb set to explode.

Implanted “Vaccine Package” ID: Germany’s Parliament Has Ratified GAVI’s Digital “Agenda ID2020”

Alarming News. In Germany the Parliament (Bundestag) ratified on 29 January 2021, the implementation of Agenda ID2020.

This is a centralized general electronic data collection of every citizen to which every government agency, police – and possibly also the private sector would have access.

It covers all that is known about an individual citizen, now up to 200 points of information and possibly more as time goes on, from your bank account to your shopping habits, health records (vaccination records, of course), your political inclinations, and probably even your dating habits and other entries into your private sphere.

Agenda ID2020 was designed by Bill Gates as part of the “vaccination package”. It is backed by the Rockefeller Foundation, Accenture, the WEF and GAVI (Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization, now simply called the Vaccine Alliance), also a Gates creation (2001), with HQ in Geneva, Switzerland.

‘Genie’s out of the bottle’: German FM pledges €21 million to help Belarusian opposition in fight to remove embattled Lukashenko

Germany has set aside €21 million ($25.3 million) as part of its new “action plan” aimed at supporting opponents of the Belarusian government, Foreign Minister Heiko Maas has told an improvised pro-opposition online conference.

Seemingly in an effort to cement an image of Berlin as the leader among European nations sponsoring anti-government movements in the post-Soviet space, Maas on Saturday addressed the so-called Belarus Solidarity Conference. This was a virtual event organized by the World Belarus Congress, a forum of Belarusian expatriate diasporas and opposition-supporting groups.

Germany discloses names of Dutch SS veterans still receiving pensions for serving Hitler in WWII

After refusing similar requests for years, Germany has finally revealed to the authorities in the Netherlands the names of Dutch citizens who are still getting monthly benefits for fighting for the Nazis in World War II.

Berlin has forwarded a list with the names of recipients of German pensions between 2015 and 2019 and the exact sums they were paid, the Dutch State Secretary for Finance Hans Vijlbrief said in a letter to parliament, which was cited by local media.

It turned out that 34 people in the Netherlands were getting the ‘Kriegsbeschädigtenrente’ or disability stipends from Germany as of two years ago. The payments ranged from several hundred euros to as high as €1,300.

Most of the beneficiaries were veterans of the Waffen SS, or their widows and other closest relatives. Media reports claimed that among them could be war criminals and former guards at Auschwitz-Birkenau, as dozens of Dutch served at the infamous death camp alongside German troops.

Biden Administration Halts Plan to Pull 12,000 Troops Out of Germany

A plan to pull about 12,000 US troops out of Germany ordered by the Trump administration has been put on hold, the head of US European Command said on Wednesday.

“At this very moment, every single one of those options, they are all on hold. They will all be reexamined from cradle to grave,” Gen. Tod Wolters told reporters. He said Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin had begun a “very thorough review” of the drawdown.

With the new Biden administration more friendly to NATO and keen to confront Russia, it’s no surprise that a plan to bring troops out of Europe was put on pause, and the chances of the US following through with the drawdown after the review are slim.

There are currently about 34,000 US troops stationed in Germany. President Trump ordered the drawdown partly because he said Germany was not paying enough for its defense.

German authorities should have realized that Russian opposition figure Alexey Navalny is on probation and should have sent him to Russia earlier, Speaker of the Russian State Duma (lower house of parliament) Vyacheslav Volodin said Tuesday.

"The countries that instructed him, took part in the film shooting (about Russian President Vladimir Putin’s alleged palace - TASS) and then sent him to us, they managed to send him bypassing all controls and turnstiles and board him on the plane. They should have understood that he is on probation, he should report himself [to law enforcement agencies]. But why are they acting so crudely to violate our legislation. “COVID-19 Jails” Open in Germany for Quarantine Offenders

The 19th-century philosopher George Santayana famously wrote, “Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” Shockingly, Germany seems to be suffering from a severe bout of historical amnesia. Taking extreme action to mitigate the spread of COVID-19, the country is interning people in “camps” to punish those found “guilty” of subverting strict COVID-19 quarantine rules.

Opening today, February 1, 2021, in the northern state of Schleswig-Holstein, is Germany’s first “corona prison.” Reporting by the RAIR Foundation uncovers that quarantine offenders will be held at the former Mortsfelde youth detention center. Inmates will be “policed by former law enforcement officials and prison wardens.” The crimes allegedly committed by these “dangerous” individuals include “refusing to quarantine after engaging in travel, after coming in contact with high-risk individuals, or after receiving a positive test result.”

German Doctors Letter to Chancellor Merkel, Put an End to the Covid “Fear Machine”

Dear Chancellor Dr. Merkel,

We, the signatories, are doctors from all areas of healthcare, who have been serving people in practices and clinics for decades. During this time, we have witnessed more than one seasonal infection in Germany, most of them with far more severe conditions and significantly more deaths than since January 2020 from COVID infectious diseases. Together we serve approx. 70.000 people.

The circumstances of the coronavirus wave in the FRG have been perceived differently than the media and the ongoing warnings of politics, which were unjustified in fact, presented to the public for months. Predictions of individual advisory virologists with millions of seriously ill and hundreds of thousands of deaths in Germany have not been true in any way.

“I Don’t Want to Live Any More”, Said the Child to Her Mother. The German Government Strangles The Future of Its Own People

Has the panic fear that politicians of all stripes have been trying to instil in people on behalf of the global criminal elite for the past year and the reflexive obedience robbed us parents, grandparents and fellow citizens of all compassion?

Or how is it to be understood that children and young people – presumably not only in Germany – suffer the worst under the illegal and useless mass quarantine of corrupt governments and express: “I don’t want to live anymore” – and there is no outcry or uprising in the country?

The climax of this outrageous scandal: the head of the German government puts off the parents until the day of never-never.

What are we to think of a state that strangles its youth and thus the future of its people, only to slavishly serve the “satanic clients” in the background and perhaps one day be allowed to be their courtier? What are we to think of citizens who silently accept this just so as not to attract attention and not to have to say NO!

Germany's AfD Slams Gov't Attempts to Spy on Party Ahead of Elections as 'Political Move'

The German government is trying to diminish the election results of the right-wing Alternative for Germany (AfD) party ahead of the federal elections by initiating an investigation and threatening to place the entire party under surveillance over alleged ties to right-wing extremism, Albert Breininger, a member of the party said.

"According to our government, right-wing radicalism is the biggest problem in Germany, where there is no Islamic radicalism or any other issues to dream with. They are twisting facts and the concept itself: patriotism is called chauvinism, fascism or Nazism. Merkel's government simply uses the intelligence services to spy on us. It is a political move ahead of the elections. We are the biggest faction in the Bundestag after the ruling [Christian Democratic Union] CDU," Breininger said.

Merkel admits she has lost 'control' of crisis – devastating details leaked from meeting

The German Chancellor said the threat posed by new coronavirus variants spreading at a faster pace than the original meant the country was "sitting on a powder keg". Mrs Merkel warned things could "easily" turn for the worse in the coming weeks. The German leader also said the reopening of the retail sector planned for mid-February may now be delayed, warning it was "not assured".

According to the German daily Bild, Mrs Merkel told regional officials: "You can introduce a 15-kilometre exclusion zone, but it is difficult to ban travel around the world."

She added: "We have to thin out air traffic so that you can no longer go anywhere."

Lufthansa might protest against this but the risk was "great", said the Chancellor.

‘Catastrophically wrong’: German court declares regional lockdown UNCONSTITUTIONAL in ‘politically explosive’ decision

A German district court has declared a strict lockdown imposed by the government of the central state of Thuringia last spring unconstitutional, as it acquitted a person accused of violating it.

A trivial case about a man violating strict German lockdown rules by celebrating a birthday with his friends has ended up in a decision the German media described as “politically explosive.” A district court in the city of Weimar did not just acquit the defendant but also stated that the authorities themselves breached Germany's basic law.

Thuringia's spring lockdown was a “catastrophically wrong political decision with dramatic consequences for almost all areas of people's lives,” the court said, justifying its decision. It particularly condemned a restriction limiting private gatherings to the members of one household and one person outside of it.

Germany Expected To Put Right-Wing AfD Under Surveillance For Violating Constitution

Germany's Bundesamt für Verfassungsschutz, the Federal Office for the Protection of the Constitution, is constantly on the lookout for potential threats to Germany's democratic constitutional system, and it has wide-ranging powers when it finds them.

"This agency has the power — and not only to do surveillance on fringe groups, domestic terrorist threats, but also to keep an eye on any political institution, like a political party," said Melanie Amann of the German newsmagazine Der Spiegel and the author of a book about the Alternative for Germany, or AfD.

"Like if their program becomes more radical or if they notice that a political party, maybe that's even sitting in the parliament, goes into a direction that might be harmful to our political system."

Bavaria-Wide Ban On Alcohol Consumption In Public Areas Overturned

German Chancellor Angela Merkel, who has struggled to impose lockdowns by consensus with the leaders of Germany's various states, is now seeing Bavaria, one of the most significant and most economically vital regions of Germany, buck the latest national lockdown extension.

According to RT News, in an unexpected win for the people, the Bavarian Administrative Court temporarily suspended the statewide ban on drinking alcohol in public areas, initially introduced by lawmakers to mitigate the COVID-19's spread.

On Tuesday, Bavarian judges temporarily suspended the statewide ban on consuming alcohol in public spaces in Passau, Regensburg, and Amberg.

Merkel pushes for coordinated bans on UK arrivals to EU due to new variant of coronavirus – British media

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has allegedly proposed that Brussels allows EU countries to shut their borders to UK travellers following the emergence of a more contagious variant of the coronavirus, a report claims.

EU nations would be “free to impose temporary bans on entry and on transporting passengers entering from [non-EU] countries with virus-variants areas,” the Times reported on Thursday, citing a draft proposal submitted to Brussels by Berlin.

According to the paper, the move is being wholly backed by German Chancellor Angela Merkel and emphasizes “an urgent need to act in order to prevent or at least slow down the spread of worrying virus variants to and within the EU area.”

European countries were thrown into panic mode when a more contagious variant of the coronavirus was discovered in Britain late last year. More than 40 states quickly suspended flights from the UK in December.

Germany to introduce tougher restrictions in pandemic battle

Germany is set to extend its nationwide lockdown until the end of the month and introduce new tougher restrictions in a bid to get control of surging coronavirus infections, sources said on Tuesday.

The new rules, which are currently being discussed by Chancellor Angela Merkel and the leaders of Germany’s 16 federal states, will for the first time ban non-essential travel for residents of hard-hit areas all over Germany.

In towns and districts where the number of new coronavirus cases is above 200 per 100,000 residents over seven days, travel will be limited to a 15-kilometre (9.3 miles) radius, the sources said.

Flashback: How Russian Pipelines Heat Up Tensions: From Reagan’s Battle Over Yamal To The European Row On Nord Stream 2

The Yamal pipeline, born at the height of the Cold War, was fiercely fought by President Ronald Reagan. Nord Stream 2 is heavily contested by several Eastern and Central European countries, Ukraine, the United States and-in a different tone and to a lesser extent due to institutional constraints-by the European Commission’s top level officials. Though Yamal and Nord Stream 2 affairs present several striking similarities, they might differ in their development.

Germany approves resuming Russia gas pipeline work

BERLIN -- German authorities on Friday gave immediate permission for work to resume on a subsea pipeline bringing natural gas from Russia.

The decision by the Federal Maritime and Hydrographic Agency can be appealed, meaning there could be another halt to the construction on the Nord Stream 2 project, which has drawn major criticism from the United States, some other European countries and environmental groups.

The U.S. government has argued that the Baltic Sea pipeline would make Europe more dependent on Russian gas and hurt European energy security. The Kremlin has responded by accusing Washington of trying to promote its own liquefied natural gas sales.

The pipeline project was also opposed by the administration of President Barack Obama, and German officials have said they don't expect broad changes in U.S. policy when President-elect Joe Biden takes over from President Donald Trump.

Germany’s anti-BDS resolution violates the right to free expression

German cultural institutions have criticized the German parliament’s anti-boycott, divestment and sanctions resolution for creating a legal gray area and undermining the right to free expression.

The 2019 resolution urges German institutions and public authorities to deny funding and facilities to civil society groups that support the BDS movement.

But in December, major German art and academic institutions denounced the resolution as “detrimental to the democratic public sphere” and warned of its negative impact on the free exchange of ideas.

That prompted an investigation, also in December, by the Bundestag’s scientific service department – an advisory body to the federal parliament – which reached a similar conclusion that the anti-BDS resolution is not legally binding and violates the constitutionally-protected right to freedom of expression in Germany.

Eight German care home employees jabbed with 5 TIMES Pfizer vaccine dose, 4 hospitalized with Covid-like symptoms

Eight nursing home workers in Stralsund received five times the normal dose of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine, sending half of them to the hospital with Covid-19 symptoms – but the company insists the megadose is safe.

A group of care home employees in the northeastern town of Stralsund was accidentally dosed with five times the prescribed amount of Pfizer-BioNTech’s newly approved Covid-19 vaccine on Sunday – the first day Germany began vaccinating healthcare workers and nursing home residents against the virus.

Hungary and Poland getting the EU to abandon its move to make Covid-19 relief conditional on ‘rule of law’ standards to control their policies has incensed international financier George Soros, who called it a German surrender.

The European Commission originally imposed “rule-of-law requirements” on member states for disbursing the pandemic recovery funds. Germany: Political Dissident Ursula Haverbeck Sent Back to Prison; May Become Oldest Female Inmate In the World

Just weeks after finishing a two and a half year prison sentence for “Holocaust denial,” 92-year-old Ursula Haverbeck has been convicted again by German courts, this time for an interview she gave in 2018 that affirmed her view that Jews were not systematically killed during World War II and that the gas chambers at Auschwitz are a politically motivated lie.

If the federal court’s sentence of one year in Haverbeck’s newest case holds up, Germany will have the dubious distinction of imprisoning the oldest female inmate in the world, a title previously held by American Lucille Keppen, who was incarcerated for shooting her neighbor and was released at age 93.
