Biden’s Anti-gun Lies are Too Much Even for Legacy Press Fact Checkers

With President Joe Biden securely in office and the 2024 presidential election 43 months away, the mainstream press has determined it an acceptable time to expose the frequent fibber’s most flagrant falsehoods. This week saw a plethora of so-called “fact-checkers” take issue with the blatantly false statements Biden made while announcing his “initial actions” on gun control on April 8.

Gov. Abbott supports legislation to make Texas a Second Amendment sanctuary state

In response to Resident Biden’s continued assault on Americans’ gun rights, Texas Gov. Greg Abbott issued a proclamation via Twitter that calls on his state’s legislature to pass a bill designating the Lone Star State as a Second Amendment “sanctuary state.”

“Biden is threatening our 2nd Amendment rights,” Abbott wrote. “He just announced a new liberal power grab to take away our guns. We will NOT allow this in TX. It’s time to get legislation making TX a 2nd Amendment Sanctuary State passed and to my desk for signing.”

Abbott went on to commend Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey for signing legislation in his state on April 6 that bans law enforcement from enforcing any federal gun control laws that infringe upon the Second Amendment.

“This is what I’m seeking for Texas – a law to defy any new federal gun control laws,” Abbott further wrote. “It will make Texas a Second Amendment Sanctuary State. Legislation is moving in the Texas House and Senate. I look forward to signing it.”

Chambers Flintlock Machine Gun from the 1700s

Joseph Chambers invented a repeating flintlock weapon in the 1790s, and I think it is appropriate to consider it a “machine gun”. The design used a series of superposed charges in one or more barrels, with specially designed bullets that has hollow central tubes through them. This would allow the fire form a detonation charge to transit through a bullet at the rear and set off a subsequent charge. The result was a single trigger pull to use a flintlock action to start an unstoppable series of shots. Chambers made pistol and musket versions, as well as a full-on mounted machine gun.

Disgusting Journalist Receives Massive Blowback After Visiting Home Of Paramedic Who Donated $10 To Kyle Rittenhouse Defense Fund

A journalist was roundly condemned after visiting the home of a paramedic in Utah who donated $10 to Kyle Rittenhouse’s legal defense fund, with many asking why posting images of the man’s home didn’t violate Twitter’s policy on doxxing and harassment.

The incident occurred after the Guardian newspaper published the names of individuals who had donated to Rittenhouse following a data breach from a Christian crowdfunding website.

Among those names was West Valley City, Utah paramedic Craig Shepherd, who immediately became the target of an attempt by ABC4 reporter Jason Nguyen to further expose his identity.

“A Utah paramedic donated to the defense fund of Kyle Rittenhouse. It was first reported in the @guardian this morning,” tweeted Nguyen, claiming, “I tried to get the paramedics side of things.”

AMERICAN HORROR STORY Map reveals where 54 mass shootings erupted over past MONTH as CNN host says there’s an ‘active shooter situation in US’

AMERICA has suffered 54 mass shooting in just the past month, as a CNN host says there’s an “active shooter situation in the US”.

The shocking statistics were revealed as a gunman opened fired during a FedEx night shift change in Indianapolis, Indiana, killing at least eight people before he turned the gun on himself.

President Joe Biden, addressing the latest killings as well as the recent eruption in mass shooting, said in a statement: “Gun violence is an epidemic in America. But we should not accept it. We must act.”

"Too many Americans are dying every single day from gun violence," Biden said in a written statement. "It stains our character and pierces the very soul of our nation."

“We can, and must, do more to act and to save lives,” he added.

At least 37 people have died in six mass shootings in the US since the beginning of March.

The Gun Violence Archive says 147 mass shootings have occurred so far in 2021.

Video: Madonna Pushes Gun Control as the ‘Vaccination’ America Needs Most

Pop star Madonna posted a video Saturday in which she pushed gun control as the “vaccination” America needs at this time.

The video, posted to Instagram, shows Madonna walking among buildings, putting up gun control posters.

In the course of hanging the posters, Madonna says, “All safety is an illusion.”

Toward the end of video she turns, looks into the camera, and says, “Beware of this new vaccination for America to keep us all alive; it’s gonna keep us all safe. It’s called gun control, okay? It’s called gun safety, alright?”

She added that the “new vaccination…should be mandatory.”

After stalling for years, effort to allow permitless carrying of handguns sees major breakthrough in Texas House

In legislative session after legislative session late last decade, gun rights supporters pushed for a new law that would allow Texans to carry handguns without a license.

Their cause did not go far in 2015 — and neither did it in 2017.

In 2019, a Democratic lawmaker recalled Thursday evening, the bill didn’t even get a hearing “when folks with armed weapons were walking the streets of some of our leaders in this chamber that are still here today — some of them are — asking the wives and spouses of those individuals where their husbands stood."

Facebook Bans Your Gun Ads But Spends Millions On Zuckerberg Security

The same Facebook social media platform that bans your gun ads spent over $23 million on security for Mark Zuckerberg in 2020.

The Daily Mail reports Facebook spent “more than $13.4 million on personal security” for Zuckerberg, plus another $10 million in the form of a “pre-tax allowance…for his family’s private security.”

The spending represented a $3 million increase over security costs for 2019.

Facebook explained the security expenditures by pointing out the increase in cost was “primarily due to regular personal travel, costs relating to security protocols during the COVID-19 pandemic, increased security coverage during the 2020 US elections and other periods with increased security risk, and market increases in the costs of security personnel.”

While Facebook spends millions on Zuckerberg’s security it continues to restrict and/or prohibit the sharing of firearm-related information between common men.

Politicians Concerned about Violence Should Start by Ending Their Wars and Their Police State

It looks like the next EOs Biden aims at mandating are related to the topic of gun control: “Gun violence in this country is an epidemic. Let me say it again. Gun violence in this country is an epidemic.” This is ironic coming from the former vice president of the Obama administration, which started regime change wars in countries like Yemen, Libya, and Syria which in large part included supplying certain “moderate” rebel groups like al-Nusra and ISIS with weapons, cash, and intelligence support that was ultimately used to slaughter innocent men, women, and children.

Joe Biden And Guns

President Joseph R. Biden Jr. recently announced his determination to use his powers as the chief executive of the federal government to infringe upon the right to keep and bear arms. This is a profound violation of his oath to uphold the Constitution. -- It also perpetuates an attitude about the Second Amendment that was prevalent in state and federal officeholders in both major political parties from the FDR to the George W. Bush eras. That attitude was based on a misreading of the Second Amendment, which characterized the right to own a gun as a collective and not an individual, personal right. In 2008, the Supreme Court corrected that misreading.

Does Ammo Expire? This Man Fired His 60 Years Old Ammo And This Is What Happened

As preppers, we’re all used to rotating our food supplies. When you come home from the store with five cans of soup they go to the back of the shelf, and when you decide you want soup for dinner you take a can from the front.

That keeps your food supplies as new as possible, and you should do the same with your ammunition. New bullets in, old bullets out.

What if you slip up, though? If you’re running low on ammo, and all that’s left on the shelf is a faded box of rounds you picked up when Reagan was in the White House, what should you do? Is that old ammunition still going to work – and is it even safe to try?

Rule by Fiat: When the Government Does Whatever It Wants

The groundwork has been laid for a new kind of government where it won’t matter if you’re innocent or guilty, whether you’re a threat to the nation, or even if you’re a citizen. What will matter is what the government—or whoever happens to be calling the shots at the time—thinks. And if the powers-that-be think you’re a threat to the nation and should be locked up, then you’ll be locked up with no access to the protections our Constitution provides. -- In effect, you will disappear.

Armed Civilians Guard Minnesota Stores as Rioting and Looting Erupts for a Second Night

Looting and rioting flared for a second night around Minneapolis on Monday, with rioters calling their attacks on stores and police a response to the death of Daunte Wright.

Wright, a 20-year-old African-American male, was killed Sunday after being pulled over by Brooklyn Center police.

On Monday, Brooklyn Center Police Chief Tim Gannon said that the officer who shot Wright appeared to have thought she was firing a Taser at Wright when she was actually firing her service weapon.

That explanation did little to bring calm to the streets of the Minneapolis suburb, nor did a curfew that rioters violated as they attacked a Brooklyn Center police station.

Rioters erupted in a wild outbreak of looting Sunday night, and on Monday attacked more stores — including a Dollar Tree store that was later set on fire — according to the Minneapolis Star-Tribune.

Some stores were reportedly protected by armed civilians, whose presence alone was enough to deter the crowds.

‘Biden Determined to Trample on 2A’ Says Chair of Anti-Biden Super PAC

The gun control movement, which has become the gun prohibition movement since anti-gunners started pushing for a ban on the manufacture and sale of so-called “semiautomatic assault weapons,” has their man in Joe Biden. In an email blast following Biden’s announcement of his “initial” gun control program, Everytown for Gun Safety—the billionaire-backed lobbying group largely bankrolled by Michael Bloomberg—declared, “This morning, we were at the White House to witness a historic moment for our movement: President Joe Biden is taking executive action to end our country’s gun violence crisis. President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris ran on the strongest gun safety platform ever, and today, they took an important step in putting that platform into action to help save lives.” It was signed by Everytown President John Feinblatt and Angela Ferrell-Zabala, head of the group’s Movement Building effort.

Joe Biden’s anti-Second Amendment nominee to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) has a background ripe with controversy.

Currently serving as a senior policy advisor at former representative Gabriel Giffords’ anti-gun lobbying group “Giffords,” David Chipman used to carry a semi-automatic rifle while raking in a taxpayer-funded paycheck.

The Biden nominee’s government career places him on location or being directly involved in some of America’s most infamous events over the last few decades.

Daily Mail reports that Chipman was “at the Ruby Ridge standoff,” in 1992 near Naples, Idaho.

After the federal government entrapped a man into selling two sawed-off shotguns with barrels shorter than the legal limit, the individual suspected a conspiracy against him and refused to surrender when agents showed up to his home.

In what turned into an 11-day standoff, the man’s 14-year-old son, his wife and their dog were all killed by U.S. Marshals and FBI agents.

Biden’s Executive Gun Control Throws Obama and Himself Under The Bus

Will Supremes Unleash Biden Red Flag Gun Raids?

President Joe Biden launched his first attack on the Second Amendment this week, making clear his intent to radically curtail Americans’ legal rights to own firearms. The White House boasted that Biden was nominating a “fierce” advocate of gun control, David Chipman, to be chief of the Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) agency. Chipman, a former ATF agent, is so dedicated to banning assault weapons that he brazenly lied last year about the 1993 federal assault at Waco, claiming that the Branch Davidians shot down two National Guard helicopters that were assaulting their home. Chipman, a Phillips Exeter Academy graduate who carries a concealed weapon himself, was an ATF case agent at the 1994 trial of the Branch Davidian survivors so he had no excuse for tossing out this anti-gun fairy tale.

Putting Biden's Gun Control Claims To The Truth Test

There were so many lies in Vice President Kamala Harris’ and President Joe Biden’s presentations on guns Thursday that it is hard to know where to start. One thing is certain, though: The media fact-checkers won’t question their claims.

Here are just a few of the false ones:

The background check system “has kept more than 3 million firearms out of the hands of dangerous people.”
Since the Brady background checks began in 1994, there have been 3.5 million initial denials. However, it is one thing to stop a felon from buying a gun. It is quite another to stop a law-abiding citizen from buying a gun just because his or her name is similar to a felon’s. In 2017, for example, there were 112,000 initial denials for supposedly attempted prohibited purchases, but just 12 federal prosecutions by June 2018. The reason is that these weren’t real cases.

West Virginia governor signs law eliminating sales tax on guns and giving tax break to gun manufacturers

West Virginia Gov. Jim Justice signed a bill removing the sales tax on gun and ammunition purchases across his state.

Justice, a Republican, signed H.R. 2499 into law, removing the sales tax on guns and ammunition while also providing tax credits for gun manufacturers, according to Bearing Arms.

Republican Del. Gary Howell, the bill’s primary sponsor, applauded the governor’s decision and said the new law will make his state a stronghold for the Second Amendment.

“In 90 days West Virginia will become the single best place for small arms and small arms ammunition manufacturers to locate,” Howell posted on Facebook. “I would welcome all small arms and ammunition manufacturers to move to Mineral County, West Virginia.”

Arizona Tells Biden-Harris To Shove Their 'Gun Grab' Up Their Respective.......

Arizona's Governor has signed a new law that would halt federal gun laws that would break the Second Amendment.

The HB-2111 legislation was signed into law Tuesday by Arizona Republican Gov. Doug Ducey, securing rights of gun owners are guarded against potential overreaching gun laws attempted by President Joe Biden's administration.

The law attempts to prevent police and sheriffs from enforcing new federal gun laws, which critics maintain will weaken the rule of law and discourage law enforcement officers from enforcing federal gun laws to defend the public. Critics further say it is an unconstitutional bill that will cost taxpayers to defend in court.

Minority Report Precrime is Here: Biden Signing Executive Order Nationalizing RED FLAG Laws for Gun Confiscation

Red Flag Laws allow the police to convene secret proceedings, in which an American can be stripped of his Second Amendment gun rights and Fourth Amendment rights. In most cases, the gun owners are barred from participating in the hearings or arguing their side of the dispute. The first time the gun owner hears of the proceeding is when law enforcement knocks on the door — ready to raid their home. -- They are not there because there is probable cause to suspect the gun owner has committed a crime, as the Constitution would seem to require. Rather, the new Red Flag standard seeks to make subjective determinations on whether the gun owner represents some “threat” to society.

Who is David Chipman? Biden’s gun czar nominee defended Waco, spent decade in anti-gun activism

US President Joe Biden’s nominee to head the ATF, David Chipman, is a decade-long gun control activist and former federal agent who outright lied about what happened during the 1993 massacre in Waco, Texas.

Announcing Chipman’s nomination to head the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives on Thursday, the White House said he “served at ATF for 25 years and now works to advance commonsense [sic] gun safety laws.”

The agency, still known as ATF – though Biden twice called it “AFT” instead – has been under acting directors since 2015.

Unconstitutional Overreach? What May Follow Biden’s Rollout of Gun Control Steps

On Thursday, the US President announced a spate of executive orders and requests for legislative action to address what he described as “the epidemic” of gun violence in the US.

President Joe Biden has claimed that his administration’s steps related to gun control in the US do not run counter to the Second Amendment, which stipulates that the right of the American people to keep and bear arms will not be infringed.

The POTUS asserted that nothing he is about to recommend “in any way impinges on the Second Amendment”, adding, ”these are phony arguments suggesting that these are Second Amendment rights at stake from what we're talking about”.

At the same time, he argued that “no amendment to the Constitution is absolute” and that “from the very beginning, you couldn't own any weapon you wanted to own”.

‘Epidemic’ label and disdain for Constitution show Biden’s gun crusade isn’t about safety – but about power

The Democrats’ obsession with seizing Americans’ guns while tolerating violent crime in the name of “equity” should have made it clear that safety wasn’t their driving consideration. President Joe Biden just made it obvious.

In announcing a series of “commonsense” [sic] executive measures, and the nomination of a former ATF agent turned gun-grabbing activist on Thursday, the White House said they were meant to address a “gun violence public health epidemic.” This comes after a year of unprecedented government infringement on civil rights in the name of public health in the form of coronavirus lockdowns and restrictions.

Of course, Democrat governors and public officials were exempt from those, as were people celebrating the Biden-Harris election, or rioting in the name of fighting another “public health epidemic,” racism.

Biden Just Declared 'War' On Millions Of Law-Abiding Gun Owners

Joe Biden promised to do it and he has finally delivered. Today, the cognitively declining President of the United States signed a number of Executive Orders allegedly designed to “curb gun violence” but actually designed to destroy the Second Amendment and the Bill of Rights.

In the process, as Robert Wheeler writes at The Organic Prepper, Biden has turned many Americans into felons with a stroke of his pen.

Details are still emerging as to just what the Executive Orders will mean for gun rights but we are aware of some of the ramifications.

Biden has signed 6 Executive Orders related to guns:

1.) Tightening regulations on “ghost guns.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

As someone who has tried (and botched) making an 80% AR-15, I can attest that Biden does not have a clue how hard it is to make one.

Second, even a gun with a serial number can have that number removed for criminal purposes.

Biden's gun-grab is not about crime. If it were, he would be going after the guns most often used to commit crimes; the small easily-disposable handguns already available on the black market.

No, the obsession with "assault" weapons is a desire by the government totally disarm the American people, and clear evidence that government is afraid of a population on the verge of throwing off their tyranny.

Hunter Biden Incident Shows That Gun Laws Are For The Little People

There is a central hypocrisy at the heart of the gun control effort. High-profile gun control-supporting politicians, the Hollywood elite, and billionaire tycoons, will advocate to strip ordinary Americans of their right to defend themselves and their family, all the while enjoying the security that armed men with guns provide. As Hunter Biden’s 2018 firearm incident shows, this hypocrisy extends even to incidents where a high-profile individual has taken the step of procuring their own firearm. The message from these elites could not be clearer: Gun laws are only for the little people.

Nolte: Biden ATF Nominee David Chipman Spread Blue Anon Conspiracy Theories About Waco

David Chipman, His Fraudulency Joe Biden’s nominee to head the ATF, has spread wild-eyed, Blue Anon conspiracy theories about the 1993 Waco siege.

During a Reddit AMA (ask me anything) last year, Chipman, a former ATF special agent and current senior policy adviser at [Gabrielle] Giffords Courage to Fight Gun Violence organization, told this outrageous and provable lie:

At Waco, cult members used 2 .50 caliber Barretts to shoot down two Texas Air National Guard helicopters. Point, it is true we are fortunate they are not used in crime more often. The victims of drug lords in Mexico are not so lucky. America plays a role in fueling the violence south of the border.

That is some first-class, Blue Anon bullshit right there.

Joe Biden Issues Executive Controls to Fight Gun Crime ‘Epidemic’ in USA

President Joe Biden put forward executive gun controls Thursday to fight what he called “an epidemic” of gun crime across the country.

CNN quoted Biden saying, “Gun violence in this country is an epidemic.” He went so far as to describe it as “an international embarrassment.”

The president then put forward executive actions which included initiatives in four areas Breitbart News highlighted on Wednesday. Those were new restrictions on “ghost guns,” a push for red flag laws, recategorization of AR-15 pistols, and DOJ-led research into gun trafficking.

As for red flag laws, Biden said, “We know red flag laws can stop mass shooters before they can act out their violent plans.” He then directed the Justice Department to publish model red flag legislation that states can adopt.

He did not mention Colorado has had a red flag law since January 1, 2020, but it did nothing to hinder, much less prevent, the March 22, 2021, Boulder attack.

Biden-Harris Admin. Announces ‘Initial Actions’ on Guns

Joe Biden uses the murders of eight people in Georgia and ten more in Colorado to justify what grassroots Second Amendment activists will doubtless consider a full-frontal attack on constitutional rights while penalizing tens of millions of gun owners for the actions of two killers who weren’t stopped by all of the gun control laws already in place.

White House: Joe Biden Not Waiting on Congress, Using DOJ to Put Forward Gun Control

Breitbart News reported that Biden planned to put forward executive action on gun controls Thursday, and the fact sheet provides an outline detailing what those actions may entail.

The Justice Department, within 60 days, will issue a proposed rule to make clear when a device marketed as a stabilizing brace effectively turns a pistol into a short-barreled rifle subject to the requirements of the National Firearms Act.

The Justice Department, within 30 days, will issue a proposed rule to help stop the proliferation of “ghost guns.”

Arizona Governor Signs Bill to Defy Any New Federal Gun Control Laws

Arizona Gov. Doug Ducey signed legislation on April 6 that would prohibit police and sheriffs in the state from enforcing new federal gun laws that may violate the Constitution’s Second Amendment.

Proponents of the bill have argued that it would ensure that the rights of gun owners are protected from what they have described as potential overreach by the federal government, while critics say the law will undermine cooperation between Arizona law enforcement and federal officials.

“The state of Arizona and its political subdivisions are prohibited from utilizing any financial resources or state personnel to administer, cooperate with or enforce any law, act, order, rule, treaty or regulation of the federal government that is inconsistent with any law of this state regarding the regulation of firearms,” according to the text of the legislation.

Biden turns to limited executive actions on gun control with Congress at a standstill

President Joe Biden on Thursday will harness the powers of the presidency to advance a half-dozen executive actions on gun control, but they fall far short of the ambitious goals he outlined as a presidential candidate as the real fight still looms on Capitol Hill.

The executive actions are aimed at taking certain guns out of the hands of criminals and pouring resources into community violence prevention, and a senior administration official cautioned that Thursday's announcement is just an initial set of actions that the new President is taking. Their limited scope once again underscores Biden's broader challenge as he faces an evenly split US Senate.

The morning of Biden's planned announcement brought news of another tragedy, this time in South Carolina, where a local doctor and two children are among five killed in a mass shooting at a home in York County, according to authorities.

Apr 07 15:53

Biden to unveil long-awaited executive action on guns (None of this would have prevented the most recent shootings…)

The announcement, expected for Thursday, comes amid a spate of high-profile shootings and as some advocates have grown frustrated in the White House’s delay. -- (People use guns to kill people. No gun has ever come alive and killed someone. No vehicle sneaks out of the driveway at night and kills people. Somehow the “do gooders” think by banning guns the problem will go away. Not true. The old adage that when guns are banned, only the bad and sick people will have guns. There is no way we can ban cars, box cutters and guns to prevent their illegal use. Calm down. Put the responsibility where it belongs. The persons using these objects are to blame. Put your misguided efforts toward curing sick minds and everyone will be better off.)

Red states moving to defend themselves against Biden’s Second Amendment onslaught: Arizona Senate passes firearms freedom bill

Republican-controlled states are moving quickly to pass legislation protecting their residents from a raft of freedom-stealing legislation that is coming from Democrats and Joe Biden’s regime. -- Arizona is the latest to move against the Dem-controlled Congress and White House to defend the Second Amendment, as the state Senate last week passed a bill that would prohibit police officers and sheriff’s deputies from assisting federal agents in enforcing certain gun laws.

Supreme Court Could Greenlight Warrantless Gun Seizures

Last week the Supreme Court heard arguments in Caniglia v. Strum on whether police can enter a home without a warrant under a “community caretaking” exemption to the Fourth Amendment right against unreasonable search and seizure. The case stems from a 2015 incident in Rhode Island in which police entered an innocent man’s home, without his permission, and confiscated his firearms.

Police had been called by Edward Caniglia’s wife, who claimed she feared her husband might be suicidal after they had an argument. Edward spoke calmly to police when they showed up, told them he would never kill himself, and displayed no reason to believe he may be suicidal. Police bullied him into visiting a psychiatric care facility, and lied that they would not confiscate his firearms while he was away. The facility immediately released Edward, because in their assessment, his mental health was fine.

In Colorado, They’re Cracking the Code on Gun Control: It Doesn’t Work

Yet, with Democrats now in control on Capitol Hill and the White House, the same pattern is once again emerging. Joe Biden called for a ban on “assault weapons” after Boulder. Others want quick action on two background check measures recently passed by the House, despite the fact that both shooters passed background checks. -- Translation: The “solutions” offered by anti-gunners penalize all gun owners for crimes committed by individuals, and put more emphasis on the murder weapon than the perpetrator. And those offering solutions never admit their previous measures failed miserably. At least in Colorado, they’re beginning to figure it out.

The fact is, the lies anti-Second Amendment extremists are telling have a major impact on us. -- They have even created an existential threat to not only exercising our Second Amendment rights but the ability to use our First Amendment rights in defense of the Second Amendment. It was unthinkable 15 years ago that Second Amendment advocacy or even the lawful exercise of our Second Amendment rights could be targeted in this manner. Defeating this threat may require us to embrace tactics we once thought of as unthinkable in response.

Iowa Governor Signs Bill Into Law Letting Residents Buy, Carry Guns Without Permits

Iowa Gov. Kim Reynolds signed legislation into law on Friday lifting some restrictions to buy or carry a handgun in the state for law-abiding citizens.

The NRA-backed legislation named “House File 756” will take effect on July 1 and eliminates the requirement for law-abiding Iowans to obtain a permit to purchase a handgun from private non-licensed sources. Additionally, to carry a weapon, people will no longer need to have a permit as well.

Individuals will still have to follow federal law and go through an instant background check to buy from licensed sellers each time they purchase a gun.

People who fail to commit to the new law will be charged with a Class D felony, which is punishable by up to five years in prison. It will become a felony if a person sells, rents, or loans a firearm to someone the seller “knows or reasonably should know” isn’t legally allowed to get a gun or is intoxicated.

ANALYSIS-Biden White House tries to craft gun executive orders that can't be undone

The White House is trying to craft a series of executive actions for President Joe Biden to sign to try to limit gun violence, hoping they cannot be quickly dismantled in court, according to aides and gun safety groups.

Among the measures being considered - and strongly encouraged by activists - is one directing the Department of Justice (DOJ) to reinterpret existing law on untraceable "ghost guns."

So-called "ghost gun" kits are self-assembled from parts purchased online or at gun shows and are increasingly associated with crimes https://reut.rs/3gx8YzS. But they are not classified as firearms and so can be legally sold without serial numbers or background checks.

Man with a Battering Ram Stopped by Female Homeowner

This homeowner knew she had a problem and took steps to make herself safer. She filed for, and received, a restraining order against her intruder. Ever-projecting and never going away, Hillary Clinton invents new rights to take away God-given ones in latest anti-gun campaign

No one needs or wants to hear failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s specious views on recent mass shootings. We all know her totalitarian aim is disarming ordinary Americans by exploiting ignorance of the Constitution.

Who even asked her to weigh in on America's latest wave of mass shootings, anyway? Basically, Clinton herself. She was interviewed this week by podcaster Jennifer Palmieri, the former communications director for Clinton's presidential campaign, to tee up her unsolicited views on how to keep guns out of the hands of bad guys like the shooters in March's Atlanta and Boulder, Colorado, massacres.

Gun Control Fails Violently – Democrats Call for More Gun Control

Politicians talked about these murderers for hours on end. The media put the murderer’s name and face in the news for days. Effectively, the news media and the politicians gave the murderer a multi-million dollar publicity campaign. We’ve seen what happens next. That media-driven celebrity campaign attracts more broken people who will kill to be noticed. -- Mass murder serves the interests of the media and of anti-gun politicians. They won’t change their actions until we change them. You and I will have to defend ourselves in small ways until we cure the sickness in our government and in the press.

Falsehoods, Misdirection, and Confusion At Senate Gun Control Hearing

Overall, however, the depressing conclusion from the hearing was that there was very little appetite to address the broader issues that contribute to violence and crime in America. The unfortunate likelihood is that opportunistic politicians will instead continue to exploit the acts of criminals and madmen to demonize, marginalize, and alienate the more than 100 million Americans who own guns.

Poll: Majority of Likely Voters Say Tougher Laws Won’t Stop Mass Killers

“We have been saying for years what a majority of likely voters are now telling Rasmussen,” Gottlieb said. “It must drive Biden and the Democrats crazy—although they would never admit it—to learn a majority of likely voters agree with us rather than with their extremist gun control agenda. On Friday, the West Virginia House overwhelmingly passed a bill that would set the foundation to end state enforcement of federal gun control; past, present and future. Passage into law would represent a major step toward ending federal acts that infringe on the right to keep and bear arms within the state.

Del. Brandon Steele along with a coalition of 10 cosponsors introduced House Bill 2694 (HB2694) on Feb. 23. On March 26, the House passed HB2694 by a 74-22 vote.

NRA Memberships Spike as Droves of Americans Reject Democrat Gun Control

NRA memberships are surging as Americans across the country reject the Democrats’ efforts to restrict the Second Amendment via gun control.

Breitbart News spoke with the NRA’s Andrew Arulanandam on Sunday and he indicated the civil rights organization has been “gaining 1,000 new members a day since January, from online signups alone.”

Breitbart News asked if there was any one certain thing that was contributing to the membership surge, and he pointed to the Democrats’ incessant gun control push.

Arulanandam said, “Gun owners realize the threat our Second Amendment and our self-defense laws are facing with a hostile President and Congress.”

On March 26, 2021, Breitbart News pointed to a Rasmussen Reports poll showing that 51 percent of likely voters do not believe stricter gun control would have prevented the March 22, 2021, shooting in Boulder, Colorado, from taking place.

Second Amendment in the Firing Line

Gun control was already a Biden Administration priority before the recent shootings in Georgia, Colorado, and Virginia. In fact, the House of Representatives passed two gun-control bills weeks before the shootings.

One of the House-passed bills expands background checks to include private sales, including those made at gun shows. Under this bill, someone who is not a licensed federal firearms dealer cannot sell a firearm without first relinquishing it to a federally-licensed dealer. The dealer must then conduct a background check on the prospective purchaser.

The second bill allows the federal government to indefinitely delay a background check, thus indefinitely delaying a gun purchase. Other legislation introduced in Congress would create a national firearms registry, which would only facilitate gun confiscation.

Rahm Emanuel: Hey, Let’s Strip Gun Owners of Due-Process Rights

In another case of poll-driven confirmation bias, Democrats have overestimated the popularity of their gun-control efforts as another House bill is reportedly “dead on arrival” in the Senate.

Alas, the bill didn’t stall because of the infamous filibuster — though demanding a 60-vote threshold for legislation predominately aimed at red states shut out of the lawmaking process would be entirely legitimate — but because moderate Democrats like Joe Manchin and Jon Tester would likely have a difficult time supporting the House efforts. Manchin, who wrote a more modest “universal background check bill” a few years ago, represents a state where an estimated 54 percent of households have guns. In Montana, the number is over 52 percent.

En Banc Ninth Circuit Court Rules Gun Owner Have No Right To Carry

“The judges on the Ninth Circuit court are acting in a truly hypocritical fashion,” Pratt Said.. “While they themselves are protected by armed bailiffs, they have now effectively barred law-abiding citizens, in the Young case, from being able to carry openly. And in their previously decided Peruta case, they barred the ability of law-abiding citizens to carry concealed without showing ‘need.’ So, it’s the classic ‘guns for me, but not for thee’ double-standard. This despotic court has completely ignored the ‘shall not be infringed’ protection in the Second Amendment by denying decent citizens the right to bear arms.”

Brass vs Steel Ammo. Which Is Better For Preppers?

Everyone in the prepping world seems to have their own opinion about something.

This is especially true when it comes to firearms. I cannot tell you how many articles I have written comparing one gun or one type of ammo to another. Everyone seems to have their favorites.

One example of this is the debate between brass and steel ammunition. Both are commonly found in gun shops and online, but which one is better for preppers? Keep in mind that preppers are looking for long term solutions, not quick fixes.

In this article, we will consider the pros and cons for both brass and steel ammo in relation to its usefulness for a prepper.

U.S. House Bows to Biden, Passes Legislation to Cancel Your RIGHT to Obtain a Firearm

The U.S. House Representatives, with the urging and support of Joe Biden, passed two bills on Thursday – H.R. 8 and H.R. 1446 – that would usher in a sweeping overhaul of how firearms are bought and sold in the U.S. Neither would impede criminals, who overwhelmingly obtain their firearms outside normal channels of lawful commerce. But together they would transform the constitutionally protected right to obtain firearms into a privilege administered at the whim of anti-gun bureaucrats.

To understand why these bills are so consequential, it’s important to understand how retail firearm sales work under existing federal law.

FBI Data Shows Knives Kill More People Than Rifles

Two recent shootings in Atlanta, Georgia and Boulder, Colorado are fueling team-left’s long desired ban on “assault-style” rifles like the AR-15.

But, according to data from the FBI, far more murders are committed with handguns, knives, or even bare hands.

The most recent data from 2019 shows that although firearms do account for the majority of homicides – 10,258 – the number of homicides committed using a rifle – 364 – is much smaller, according to the Daily Caller.

Handguns were listed as the primary weapon in 6,368 cases, while shotguns accounted for an additional 200. 45 cases named “other gun” as the weapon and in 3,281 cases, the type of firearm was not listed.

Assuming the unspecified cases follow the same ratio as the reported firearm types, the number of rifle homicides would increase by approximately 120, bringing the total number from 364 to 484.

The Boulder shooting smashed another liberal media narrative… and it was NBC News who stepped in it

It shows the grotesque nature of American liberalism. They are always waiting to exploit death to push their agenda. It makes sense. Jen Psaki says Biden will sign gun control executive orders

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Friday confirmed that President Biden intends to sign executive orders on gun control.

Psaki replied “Yes” to a journalist’s question about whether reporters should “be expecting executive orders from the president on gun measures.”

But she said the timing was unclear due to a review process.

“When the president was the vice president in the Obama-Biden administration, he helped put in place 23 executive actions to combat gun violence. It’s one of the levers that we can use,” Psaki said at her daily press briefing.

Appeals Court Rules That Federal Agencies Can’t Classify Bump Stocks as ‘Machine Gun’

A federal appeals court on Thursday sided with a coalition of gun advocacy groups by ruling that the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives (ATF) cannot classify bump stocks as machine guns for the purpose of federal firearm regulations.

Bump stocks are devices designed to assist a shooter by increasing a firearm’s rate of fire. They reuse the gun’s recoil energy, thereby allowing a standard rifle to shoot continuously if the trigger is pulled once and constant pressure is maintained.

The device was infamously used by the gunman who opened fire during an outdoor concert from the 32nd floor of a Las Vegas hotel room in Oct. 2017, killing 58 people and wounding more than 500. The tragic incident led to strong public support for outlawing bump stocks. In 2018, the ATF reinterpreted a statute outlawing machine guns to also include non-mechanical bump stocks. Under the rule, those in possession of the device could face felony charges and potential incarceration.

Ban Knives? FBI Stats Reveal Knives Kill Far More People Than Rifles

As Democrats try to use two recent mass shootings to justify pushing gun control legislation that would outlaw rifles such as the popular AR-15 platform, it’s worth noting that knives, hands and feet actually kill more people than rifles, according to data on homicides compiled by the federal government.

According to numbers from the FBI’s Uniform Crime Reports program, which tracks a variety of data from crime across the nation, Democrats would be attempting to ban knives and clubs if they were truly serious about saving lives.

They are, of course, not serious about undertaking such an endeavor to preserve life.

In wake of shootings, Senate renews efforts to overhaul U.S. gun laws

On the heels of two mass shootings that have shocked the country, the Senate is, once again, weighing an overhaul of the nation's gun laws — with a murky path ahead.

Despite President Joe Biden's pleas on Tuesday, two House-approved bills to close gaps in the background checks system don't currently have the 60 votes needed to clear the Senate, according to senators who have spoken with colleagues to gauge support.

Democrats say they're determined to act, seeing it as a necessity to get some measures across the finish line while they control the White House and Congress. But getting 10 Republican senators to agree on any form of gun control, however popular or modest, will be tough.

"I think a universal background checks bill can get 60 votes," said Sen. Chris Murphy, D-Conn., an outspoken advocate for stricter gun control.
