Biden to impose travel restrictions on South Africa, U.K. and Brazil to mitigate new Covid strains

President Joe Biden will sign a travel ban Monday on most non-U.S. citizens entering the country who were recently in South Africa, where a new strain of Covid-19 has been identified, a person familiar with the situation told CNBC.

Biden will also reinstate travel restrictions on the entry of non-U.S. citizens from the U.K. and Brazil, where new Covid strains have emerged. The restrictions will also apply to Ireland and much of Europe. Former President Donald Trump had rescinded the restrictions just before Biden took office.

Reuters first reported news of the travel restrictions on Sunday.

Dr. Anne Schuchat, principal deputy director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, told the outlet that the agency was “putting in place this suite of measures to protect Americans and also to reduce the risk of these variants spreading and worsening the current pandemic.”

Samsung Suddenly Confirms Radical New Galaxy Smartphones

In the Galaxy S21 range, Samsung has already unveiled what will be its best selling smartphones of the year. But now the company has confirmed what will be (by far) it's most exciting new smartphones in 2021

Flying under the radar, Samsung Display senior vice president Choi Kwon-young quietly confirmed during a company earnings call with The Elec that Samsung will develop radical new rollable and slidable smartphones in 2021.

The company did not offer any further details at this stage, but the prospect of such futuristic devices could reinvigorate a sector which has become increasingly stale in recent years. Moreover, all-new hardware would also result in new software interfaces and innovative app design to take advantage of these form factors. The prospects are mouthwatering.

Study: British Variant Doubling Every Day in US

The British coronavirus strain is doubling in the U.S. every 10 days, according to a study released Sunday on the medRxiv server.

Researchers estimated that the British variant is expected to become the predominant strain in the U.S. by March, posing a potential risk of increased cases and deaths, although the study has not yet been peer-reviewed or published in a medical journal.

“Our study shows that the U.S. is on a similar trajectory as other countries where B.1.1.7 rapidly became the dominant SARS-CoV-2 variant, requiring immediate and decisive action to minimize COVID-19 morbidity and mortality,” according to the study.

“Nothing in this paper is surprising, but people need to see it,” said Kristian Andersen, who is the study’s co-author and a virologist at the Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, Calif., The New York Times reported.

The Lab-Leak Hypothesis For decades, scientists have been hot-wiring viruses in hopes of preventing a pandemic, not causing one. But what if …?

What happened was fairly simple, I’ve come to believe. It was an accident. A virus spent some time in a laboratory, and eventually it got out. SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19, began its existence inside a bat, then it learned how to infect people in a claustrophobic mine shaft, and then it was made more infectious in one or more laboratories, perhaps as part of a scientist’s well-intentioned but risky effort to create a broad-spectrum vaccine. SARS-2 was not designed as a biological weapon. But it was, I think, designed. Many thoughtful people dismiss this notion, and they may be right. They sincerely believe that the coronavirus arose naturally, “zoonotically,” from animals, without having been previously studied, or hybridized, or sluiced through cell cultures, or otherwise worked on by trained professionals.

Thousands Of Maskless Buccaneer Fans Celebrate Super Bowl Win

Following the Tampa Bay Buccaneers victory over the Kansas City Chiefs (31-9) to win Super Bowl LV, fans rushed to bars and packed South Tampa streets to celebrate the win, according to Fox 35 Orlando.

Experts are concerned even as the US has emerged from the worst surge in deaths, hospitalizations, and infections of COVID-19, last night's event across Tampa could spark additional infections in the coming weeks.

Thousands of Buccaneer fans packed streets along South Howard Avenue, many without face masks nor properly social distancing, as they celebrated last night's big win.

New cases of COVID-19 nationally are dropping and quickly. In order to keep this scam going, the ruling class will either have to invent a new enemy to panic the public or enhance the danger of the one they’ve already created.

The biggest concern when cases go down is what the rulers will do to us next in order to push their agenda.

The “experts” are saying that even after you are fully vaccinated (got two shots of the Big Pharma COVID-19 vaccine) you have to still follow the same tyrannical edicts that everyone else does. Getting injected doesn’t mean you can go back to normal.

At this point, most people have hopefully figured out there is no “going back to normal.” After all, you can still get and transmit the virus even if you’re fully vaccinated, so you are supposed to remain terrified and afraid of being a human. But the control freaks say you’ll have “fewer symptoms” if you get the vaccine. It’s hard to believe that getting two Big Pharma jabs is worth it to some people.

Vaccine Trial Participants Warn: Side Effects After Second Shot Are “Intense”

The ruling class with the help of the mainstream media simply want to be able to change humans’ behavior on a whim, and so far, up to this point anyway, they’ve been overtly successful:

Man in his 70s collapses and dies just 25 minutes after receiving COVID-19 vaccine in NYC - as officials say he 'didn't have allergic reaction'

An elderly man collapsed and died in New York City on Sunday morning shortly after receiving a COVID-19 vaccine, officials revealed Monday.

The man, who was in his 70s, fell as he left Manhattan's Jacob Javits Convention Center just 25 minutes after receiving his shot, New York State Health Commissioner Dr. Howard Zucker said in a statement.

On-site security and first responders raced to his side within seconds, but the man, who has not yet been named, was pronounced dead at a local hospital shortly afterward.

Return to Normal From Coronavirus Seen in 7 Years

Bloomberg estimates that the end of the pandemic and the complete return to normal from coronavirus will take seven years. Based on current vaccination rates from all over the world, eradicating the virus completely will take time. However, vaccinations are happening more rapidly in richer Western countries than elsewhere. Consequently, the world will need seven years for a return to normal.

At present, the world’s biggest vaccination campaign in history is ongoing. Health ministries of 73 countries started issuing around 131 million doses in total. The latest estimate places the number of daily inoculations at 4.69 million doses a day.

Gorgeous New Image Shows a Pinwheel Galaxy in Exquisite Detail

An observatory in northern Chile has captured a stunning view of Messier 83, also known as the Spiral of the Southern Pinwheel.

Messier 83 is an almost perfect illustration of what a spiral galaxy is stereotypically supposed to look like. This is because we have the fortune of seeing it from a practically perfect overhead, or face-on, perspective.

The new image was acquired with the Dark Energy Camera (DECam) attached to the Víctor M. Blanco telescope at the Cerro Tololo Inter-American Observatory (CTIO) in northern Chile. DECam, having already fulfilled its primary duty as the Dark Energy Survey from 2013 to 2018, is now being used for other purposes, like gazing upon nearby celestial wonders.

Covid quarantine: People caught lying about ‘red list’ country visits could face 10 years in prison

People will face up to ten years in jail if they lie on a passenger form to hide that they have come to the UK from a “red list” country.

“We are coming down hard on people who provide false information on the passenger locator form,” Matt Hancock told MPs.

“Anyone who lies on the passenger locator form and tries to conceal that they have been in a country on the ‘red list’ in the ten days before arrival here, will face a prison sentence of up to ten years.”

The Health Secretary outlined a series of “tough fines” for people who breach the new Covid travel rules which aim to mutant variants of the virus getting into the UK.

The largest near-Earth asteroid of 2021 is barreling toward us right now

Space is filled with loose debris ranging from tiny specks of dust to massive rocks that could wipe out a planet if they were to slam into one at high speeds, and our solar system is no different. We know about a lot of the larger asteroids that are hanging around in our neck of the cosmic woods, and space agencies around the globe keep a close eye on them to ensure they stay at a safe distance from our planet.

2001 FO32 is one such rock, and it’s expected to make a relatively close pass of Earth in March. Scientists don’t know a lot about the object, but they believe it will pass Earth without issue. They estimate that the asteroid will pass at a distance of roughly 1.2 million miles, give or take a hundred thousand miles or so, and they believe it’s somewhere between a half-mile and one mile wide.

Astronomers Think They've Found Another Trojan Asteroid Lurking in Earth's Orbit

A recently discovered object sharing Earth's orbital path around the Sun could actually be a trojan asteroid, astronomers have found.

If confirmed, it will be only the second object of its type identified to date, suggesting that there could be more of these hidden asteroids lurking in Earth's gravitational pockets.

Trojan asteroids are space rocks that share the orbital path of larger planetary bodies in the Solar System, hanging out in gravitationally stable regions known as Lagrangian points.

These are pockets where the gravitational pulls of the planet and the Sun balance perfectly with the centripetal force of any small body in that region to basically hold it in place.

Each two-body system has five Lagrange points, as seen in the diagram below. There are five between Earth and the Moon; and another five between Earth and the Sun.

COVID- 19 Is Not A Pandemic. It Is A Psy Ops For Total Control

COVID 19 is a rather unimpressive “pandemic.” The government is lying to you. Masks, lock-downs, social distancing – think about what they’re really doing to you. They don’t want to protect you; they want to control you. They use the standard formula for brainwashing: despair, deprivation, and dread. That's what we have with our so-called pandemic. Not protection. Control.

There have been various “pandemics” over the last few thousand years. The 14th-century Black Death may have killed 200 million people, and that was when the world population itself was much smaller. The Spanish Flu of 1918-1920 killed perhaps 40 or 50 million people. In 1957 the Asian Flu killed about a million people, and in 1968 the Hong Kong Flu also killed a million. Neither of those events in 1957 and 1968 was a major news item. The big news of 1957 was that Elvis Presley was starring in two movies.

Just two days after WaPo said it was "plausible" and "must be investigated", and less than week after finally getting access to Wuhan's high security virus lab (for the first time in over a year), WHO investigators have reported preliminary "independent" findings that the COVID virus came from animals, confirming China's heavily promoted narrative and dismissing the likelihood of any leak from the lab in close proximity (a lab that is coincidentally designed to examine the world's most dangerous pathogens and is led by virologist Shi Zhengli, known as China's "Batwoman," for her extensive work on bat-borne coronaviruses).

UK Government Considering Knocking On Doors Of Vaccine Refusniks, Report

The UK government is considering a plan to despatch council staff to knock on the doors of those who have refused to take a coronavirus vaccine, in an effort to coerce refusniks into taking the shot, according to a report.

The London Metro reports that Vaccines Minister Nadhim Zahawi told MPs he wanted to identify ‘at an individual level’ those who have been offered the vaccine but turned it down.

The report states that the plan is being hatched amid fears that a sizeable amount of the population are ‘sceptical’ of the vaccine.

Zahawi said that the role of the council staffers would be to determine why people are refusing the vaccine and then “see what might convince them” to change their minds.

Zahawi refused to confirm how the Government will know who has not taken the vaccine, but did admit during a radio appearance on the BBC that everyone who has taken the shot has been registered in a national immunisation vaccination system.

Government Fail: "We've Turned Teens Into Lockdown Lab Rats"

The verdict is clear: the imposition of lockdowns and social distancing, along with delays in getting children and adolescents back into schools – has been fatal for society, creating a slow motion mental health explosion that could last for decades.

To anyone actually paying attention, warnings and concerns have been raised for months by many different people and advocacy groups, but rather than considering the spectre of permanent arrested development, governments have such dismissed concerns as a low priority in relation to ‘stopping the spread of the virus.’ Instead, virtue-signalling individuals in government, along with teachers unions, have retreated into the irrational world hypochondria and paranoia and leaving the youth hanging out to dry in the process – despite the fact that near zero risk of young people ever becoming ill from COVID-19. Similarly, most teachers are similarly in a low risk of ever becoming seriously ill from coronavirus.

Roosevelt commanders aggravated COVID-19 outbreak: watchdog

The Pentagon's inspector general faulted leadership on a U.S. aircraft carrier for decisions the watchdog said exacerbated a coronavirus outbreak on the vessel early in the pandemic.

More than 1,200 sailors aboard the USS Roosevelt were infected with the coronavirus in the spring of 2020. The outbreak, and the Navy's response, erupted into a political firestorm.

An inspector general report released Monday found that USS Roosevelt commanders did not keep sailors in quarantine for long enough or strictly enforce social distancing rules. Leaders continued conducting urine tests for drug use amid the outbreak and “allowed social gathering areas to remain open.” The watchdog cited earlier investigations by Navy commanders in its report.

Merck Statement Against Ivermectin Exposing ‘Big Pharma’ Lobbyists

Keep in mind that Merck provided no evidence, whatsoever, for any of its claims, did not refute any of the existing evidence, studies and meta-studies, and falsely claimed ‘unproven safety’. The entire statement is a desperate appeal to (supposed) authority, and anyone pushing it is simply exposing themselves as a lobbyist not interested in actual evidence-based medicine.

What Merck could have done, but didn’t do, since April 2020, is running and publishing its own ivermectin trial. What Merck also could have done, but didn’t do, is disclosing in its statement that it recently signed a $356 million deal to supply the US with a much more expensive, newly developed experimental anti-covid drug. But doing this may not have been in Merck’s interest, of course.

Tampa Mayor Threatens Police Investigations of Super Bowl Fans Who Didn’t Wear Masks

The Mayor of Tampa has threatened Super Bowl fans who were seen outside at bars not wearing face masks with police investigations.

Yes, really.

During a press conference, Mayor Jane Castor (D) said those who flouted the rules will be “identified” by law enforcement.

“We had tens of thousands of people all over the city; downtown, out by the stadium, Ybor City, down here in Channelside, and very, very few incidents. I’m proud of our community, but those few bad actors will be identified, and the Tampa Police department will handle it… There just has to be that level of personal responsibility. You can supply everyone with a mask, advise them of the science behind it, and expect that they are going to abide by the mask order,” said Castor.

Back to the 1640s: Witch-hunt against 'Covid denialists' in UK is just a continuation of previous campaigns against dissenters

The targeting of public figures who speak out against lockdowns and other Covid-orthodoxies has intensified in Britain, and there are clear connections with previous power-structure-protecting campaigns used to silence heretics.

The 1968 historical horror film ‘Witchfinder General’, which tells the story of 17th century witch-hunter Matthew Hopkins, who terrorised the countryside of Parliament-held eastern England during the English Civil War, is a harrowing watch. Its brilliant young director Michael Reeves, unable to sleep, died from an overdose of barbiturates (thought to be accidental) just a few months after its release.

The deaths and severe injuries from the COVID-19 vaccine are continuing to stack up. Here’s a question: how likely is it that the ruling class blames these deaths on COVID-21?

With the constant news of new “mutations” of the coronavirus designed to panic the already fearful masses into getting a vaccine that’s been horrifically damaging people and even killing them, we’d say this is likely. I hope I’m wrong, but not enough of the public has figured this out yet.

All of these agendas (the elitists own everything, they will take everything from you, you will be their slave permanently, unable to ever escape again, eugenics, and permission to do anything from those who desire ultimate control over everyone) are coalescing. Wake up now, or you won’t be able to. The ultimate goal is to take all of your property under the guise of you being unable to pay. What do you really think the lockdowns were for? Certainly not for a virus that statically, no one is dying from.

Clueless In DC: Biden Admin Contradicting Itself On School Re-Openings As Joe Blames Trump?

President Joe Biden on Sunday claimed it is necessary for kids to return "safely" to school and to expect the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to release "science-based" guidelines later this week on requirements for schools to reopen amid the ongoing pandemic.

The president’s comments came during a pre-Super Bowl interview on "CBS Evening News." Questioned by anchor Norah O’Donnell whether some 20 million American children have not been in the classroom for nearly a year – and the mental health damage that has caused – constituted a "national emergency," Biden stated it does.

Something Weird Is Happening With India's COVID Cases

(NEWSER) – The US logged 125,735 new COVID-19 cases on Monday, according to the CDC's tracker. India, a country whose population is more than four times bigger than our own, logged ... 11,000. Their current case-per-capita rate is about 9 in 1 million, one of the lowest on the planet, reports Business Insider. Why is one big mystery, reports NPR, which notes that as recently as September, India was seeing nearly 100,000 cases a day and was gunning to surpass the US' caseload count. What in the world changed? That's what scientists are trying to figure out. Jishnu Das, a health economist at Georgetown University, says the drop isn't due to a decrease in testing or reporting, and the drop began before any vaccines were approved. NPR looks at possible factors at play. One is age. As of 2016, 15.2% of Americans were over age 65; the corresponding figure in India is 6%. That younger population could mean that more people who get COVID aren't showing symptoms.

Within that story we had warned that while "we have now had nearly nine months of being treated like utter imbeciles", we have lots of evidence why things would likely continue to deteriorate in 2021, like a snowball growing bigger and picking up speed as it makes its way toward its rendezvous with oblivion.

As Covid-19 Vaccines Raise Hope, Cold Reality Dawns That Illness Is Likely Here to Stay

Vaccination drives hold out the promise of curbing Covid-19, but governments and businesses are increasingly accepting what epidemiologists have long warned: The pathogen will circulate for years, or even decades, leaving society to coexist with Covid-19 much as it does with other endemic diseases like flu, measles, and HIV.

The ease with which the coronavirus spreads, the emergence of new strains and poor access to vaccines in large parts of the world mean Covid-19 could shift from a pandemic disease to an endemic one, implying lasting modifications to personal and societal behavior, epidemiologists say.

'We have educators who are dying': Teachers still fear COVID-19, but calls to open schools grow louder

California mom Megan Bacigalupi has had enough. She wants her kindergartner and second-grader back in their Oakland classrooms.

But the coronavirus is spreading too quickly to open schools in Alameda County, based on current state standards. And the local teachers union hasn’t agreed to go back – even after teachers have been vaccinated. So she expects her kids will be logging on to school from home for a while.

“The impediments to opening are just too great,” said Bacigalupi, who is lobbying California lawmakers to establish firm, statewide health metrics that, once met, would require schools to open. “In the end, it comes down to a lack of political will to get the kids back in the classroom.”

Starlink already has 10,000 users, according to a SpaceX FCC filing

Elon Musk's satellite internet experiment Starlink is still in the primordial stages of development, but apparently people are already using it.

That's the claim in SpaceX's latest FCC filing anyway. According to SpaceX, the user count in the United States and elsewhere totals more than 10,000 right now. That's obviously not a massive number, but considering Starlink's service offering is still in beta and the company is still actively launching satellites into space, it's a start.

What's perhaps even more interesting are the claims SpaceX makes about Starlink's performance. The filing says most Starlink customers can expect internet download speeds of at least 100Mbps with fewer than 31 milliseconds of latency. That download speed number is key, as it would put Starlink's service well above the average speed users get in several states.

What’s Causing Those Landslides on Mars? Maybe Underground Salt and Melting Ice

Changes in Mar’s geography always attract significant scientific and even public attention. A hope for signs of liquid water (and therefore life) is likely one of the primary driving forces behind this interest. One particularly striking changing feature is the Recurring Slope Lineae (RSL) originally found by the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter (MRO). Now, scientists at the SETI Institute have a modified theory for where those RSLs might develop – a combination of water ice and salt just under the Martian surface.

According to the SETI team, led by Senior Research Scientist Janice Bishop, there is a two step process going on that creates these RSLs. First, underground water ice must mix with a combination of chlorine salts and sulfates to create a type of slurry that destabilizes the regolith in the area. Then, the dry wind and dust storms of Mars take over, blowing the destabilized material into new patterns across the Martian surface.

Two Earth-based studies confirm water molecules are present on the Moon, but the amounts vary depending on location and time of day, Casey Honniball of NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center reported in a Jan. 21 online seminar titled “A Tale of Lunar Water,” sponsored by the Lunar and Planetary Institute (LPI) in Houston, Texas.

These studies were conducted with NASA’s Infrared Telescope Facility (IRTF) and with its Stratospheric Observatory for Infrared Astronomy (SOFIA) airborne observatory.

Lunar samples returned by NASA’s Apollo missions and by the former Soviet Union’s Luna missions contain low levels of volatile elements though a few had high water contents, Honniball said. However, these samples represent only localized areas on the lunar surface and not the whole Moon.

Israel’s Third Lockdown- a Spectacle of Failure

Earlier this week, The New York Times praised the Israeli mass vaccination experiment. “In the most extensive real-world test so far, Israel has demonstrated that a robust coronavirus vaccination program can have a quick and powerful impact, showing the world a plausible way out of the pandemic. Cases of Covid-19 and hospitalizations dropped dramatically among people who were vaccinated within just a few weeks… early data suggests that the vaccines are working nearly as well in practice as they did in clinical trials.”

For one reason or another, the Israeli media is not as enthusiastic as the NY Times. On the penultimate day of Israel’s third lockdown, the most read Israeli online outlet, Ynet, carried the following headline: Spectacle of Failure: Third Lockdown Compared to Previous Ones.

Food Is Being Weaponized for Use Against 0ver 100 Million Americans

Food wars are coming. Food deprivation will be used, in the near future, to bring America to her knees and force compliance from a population that largely rejects the communist takeover of our government that has just taken place.

In the first installment of this series, the following facts were established:

1. Bill Gates has become the largest owner of American farmland.

2. Biden's new 45% capital gains tax, with no offsets, will make it impossible for the vast majority of family farms to survive.

3. The food supply chain is permanently broken.

4. The meat packing plants are still closed. They will likely open under Biden's control.

Biden-Induced Border Crisis, Where COVID Meets Catch-And-Release

Before Joe Biden even took office, DHS reported a surge in illegal border crossings in anticipation of his presidency. Since taking office, Biden has been busily undoing President Trump’s border and illegal immigration policy, effectively opening our borders in the midst of a global pandemic.

In addition to halting deportations and abolishing Trump’s “remain in Mexico” policy, Biden has reinstated the disastrous Obama-era ‘catch and release’ travesty and hamstrung ICE to the point that one official said that Biden has effectively “abolish[ed] ICE without abolishing ICE.”

None of this is a surprise since Biden ran—in part—on an open borders agenda, but there is a giant COVID donkey in the room. Even the left is questioning the wisdom and impact on public health of rashly opening the borders to thousands of migrants in the midst of the Wuhan coronavirus pandemic.

Even the New York Times is expressing concern.

My Son Took His Own Life. It Was the Lockdown That Got Him | Opinion

My elder son, Matthew, was 24 years old when he died. In June 2020, he moved to Birmingham, Alabama to embark upon a new career, a career for which he'd spent a year training in Greenville, South Carolina. In South Carolina, he had had a roommate. He'd worked with a team. He made friends. He fell in love. My gregarious son had a bright future ahead of him.

In truth, I don't think that the move to a new city would have affected him all that much if it weren't for the draconian measures in place isolating him from human contact. Instead of the regular interaction he had originally anticipated, he found himself working from home, interacting through email, Zoom meetings, and telephone calls. Lockdowns, shelter-in-place, and social distancing thwarted attempts to make friends and develop a life beyond the walls of his apartment. He was alone and, without the necessary social interaction, lonely.

So lonely he could die.

The mask that blinds the future

The mask is a symbol of our impotence, indicating how we should keep our mouths shut in the presence of the Almighty State and follow its orders religiously, especially when we know these commands are false, and meant not to improve our health but to injure us and forever shackle us to the state. The mask is a symbolic ID badge that shows the cops we believe the lies the government tells us.

On a deep emotional level the lockdown teaches us how we should ruin our own lives by voluntarily sequestering ourselves from society because we are potentially disease ridden deplorables sickened by a government-created plague that kills one one-thousandth of the people it infects, or so they claim. This makes the lockdowns the greatest government deception in history, quarantining healthy people unnecessarily and murdering oldsters with deliberately wrong treatment (ventilators) and untested experimental vaccines that are really not vaccines at all.

More than half of Americans don’t want COVID-19 vaccine, survey shows

The mainstream media makes COVID-19 vaccines sound like a rousing success with everyone clamoring to get in line, but a new survey shows that more than half of Americans plan to delay getting the vaccine or even refuse to get it altogether. In fact, just 41 percent of those who participated in the Kaiser Family Foundation’s tracking project said they were eager to get the shot as soon as possible.

Among those who are not eager to get the vaccine, 31 percent say they’d rather wait to see more results of the vaccines, 13 percent said they are certain they will not get the shot, and 7 percent said they would only get the shot if they were absolutely required to do so for school, work or other activities.

Local Radio Reports ‘Many Dying’ In Israel Following Pfizer Experimental MRNA Injections

Ms. Sharav is the founder of Alliance for Human Research Protection, and is herself a holocaust survivor from World War II.

She reported:

On November 18, 2020, Israel’s senior health officials were caught unprepared when Pfizer announced that its vaccine was “90% effective” (revised to 95%) against Covid-19.

They had ordered millions of vaccine doses from Moderna and AstraZeneca but none for the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine.

How then, did Israel procure an estimated four to five million doses of the Pfizer vaccine in December 2020 – enough to vaccinate at least two million people?

Insanity Personified: Biden's DOJ Targets Elon Musk and SpaceX for Hiring Americans Instead of Non-Americans

In the end, it was stories such as this that reminded those truly paying attention we not only didn’t have a country, but our posterity didn’t have a future. [DOJ Targets Elon Musk’s SpaceX For Allegedly Preferring To Hire U.S. Citizens: Investigating if company “engages in any pattern or practice of discrimination” against non-citizens,, January 28, 2021]:

The U.S. Department of Justice is probing Elon Musk’s rocket company SpaceX over whether the company discriminates against non-U.S. citizens in its hiring, according to court documents filed on Thursday.

The Justice Department’s Immigrant and Employee Rights division received a complaint of employment discrimination from a non-U.S. citizen, who alleged that SpaceX discriminated against him based on his citizenship status.

South Africa Halts Vaccine Rollout As AstraZeneca Jab Ineffective At Combating Mutant COVID

As we previewed over the weekend, a new study suggests that AstraZeneca's COVID vaccine, developed in partnership with Oxford, is significantly less effective at preventing patients from being infected by a new "variant" - aka mutant - strain first isolated in South Africa. We posited that the new data could be used by European regulators, as well as regulators from elsewhere, to justify another round of lockdowns and other restrictions even as cases and infections continue to decline worldwide.

Already, it's looking like that assessment was correct. Because on Monday, Bloomberg reported that South Africa had suspended its vaccination rollout until developers finish working on the highly educated.

Even 'Scientist' Models Now Forecast The COVID Scourge Ending By The Summer

The covid pandemic was front and center today in economic news, when its impact was felt throughout the January payrolls report (if not to the same extent as December payrolls), whose disappointing +49k reading could be easily explained by continued job losses in the Leisure & Hospitality sector due to COVID-19 outbreaks and associated lockdown measures and restrictions.

We later reported that the same scientists had been using 'gain-of-function' research to make bat coronaviruses more transmissible to human beings - for which they were roundly criticized in 2015.

Black Savannahians Haunted by Memory of US Military Mosquito Experiment

Black Americans are more hesitant than whites to take the COVID vaccine. Reasons for that hit close to home in Savannah, and include a classified military operation in the 1950s that dropped hundreds of thousands of mosquitoes — mosquitoes that many believe were infected with disease — on Carver Village.

“They didn’t tell anybody, and it happened,” said Chatham County Commission Chairman Chester Ellis. “And so that leaves some apprehension, especially when you have residents of that area who’ve been there since the ’50s. And so my job as neighborhood president, and also as chairman of the County Commission, is to kind of calm the storm down to let them know that this vaccination is not like that.”

Implanted “Vaccine Package” ID: Germany’s Parliament Has Ratified GAVI’s Digital “Agenda ID2020”

Alarming News. In Germany the Parliament (Bundestag) ratified on 29 January 2021, the implementation of Agenda ID2020.

This is a centralized general electronic data collection of every citizen to which every government agency, police – and possibly also the private sector would have access.

It covers all that is known about an individual citizen, now up to 200 points of information and possibly more as time goes on, from your bank account to your shopping habits, health records (vaccination records, of course), your political inclinations, and probably even your dating habits and other entries into your private sphere.

Agenda ID2020 was designed by Bill Gates as part of the “vaccination package”. It is backed by the Rockefeller Foundation, Accenture, the WEF and GAVI (Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunization, now simply called the Vaccine Alliance), also a Gates creation (2001), with HQ in Geneva, Switzerland.

Bill Gates’ Global Agenda and How We Can Resist His War on Life

In March 2015, Bill Gates showed an image of the coronavirus during a TED Talk and told the audience that it was what the greatest catastrophe of our time would look like. The real threat to life, he said, is ‘not missiles, but microbes.’ When the coronavirus pandemic swept over the earth like a tsunami five years later, he revived the war language, describing the pandemic as ‘a world war’.

‘The coronavirus pandemic pits all of humanity against the virus,’ he said.

In fact, the pandemic is not a war. The pandemic is a consequence of war. A war against life. The mechanical mind connected to the money machine of extraction has created the illusion of humans as separate from nature, and nature as dead, inert raw material to be exploited. But, in fact, we are part of the biome. And we are part of the virome. The biome and the virome are us. When we wage war on the biodiversity of our forests, our farms, and in our guts, we wage war on ourselves.

The COVID-19 Pandemic as a Psychological Coup d’Etat

We have almost reached a full year since the spread of SARS-Cov2 was proclaimed a pandemic. Indeed, if these numbers can be relied upon, we can surely acknowledge there is a real pandemic.

Hundreds contest fines related to COVID-19 regulations

More than a third of the people who were ticketed for violating COVID-19 regulations are in the process of contesting them, provincial data shows.

According to statistics published by the Quebec Justice Ministry's office of offences and fines, more than 3,500 fines had been issued for violating public health regulations by Aug. 24, including for breaking the public health limits on gatherings.

But more than 1,200 of those fines, which range between $1,000 and $6,000, are in the process of being contested.

"We can explain that by the really high value of those fines," said Thierry Rassam, lawyer and president of SOS Ticket.

"The amount surpasses $1,000. That is a very significant amount of money."

How China could win 2021’s space race and take Mars as its prize

Looking at its achievements over the past decade, nobody would doubt China is aiming to win the new space race. Not only has it been the only country to land on the Moon in about 40 years, and the first to soft-land on its far side, it has also planted a flag on lunar soil and brought samples back to Earth.

The race between several nations and private companies, however, is far from over. China is now approaching Mars with its Tianwen-1 mission, due to arrive on February 10. A successful insertion into orbit – the rover won’t land until May — will mark another crucial milestone for more than one reason.

Alaska Science Forum: Were blue beads in the tundra the first U.S. import from Europe?

Glass beads the size of blueberries found by archeologists in a Brooks Range house-pit might be the first European item ever to arrive in North America, predating the arrival of Columbus by a few decades.

Made in Venice, Italy, the tiny blue beads might have traveled more than 10,000 miles in the skin pockets of aboriginal adventurers to reach Bering Strait. There, someone ferried them across the ocean to Alaska.

At least 10 of the beads survived a few centuries in the cold dirt of three locations in northern Alaska. Archeologists recently unraveled the mystery of the beads in a paper published in the journal American Antiquity.

Real household incomes decline for first time in more than 10 years

The Covid-19 pandemic hit Singapore households hard last year, with the overall median household income falling for the first time since the economy was battered by the global financial crisis more than a decade ago.

Last year, the median household income fell 2.5 per cent in nominal terms from $9,425 to $9,189. After taking into account inflation, this works out to a 2.4 per cent drop in real terms.

The dip matches the decline seen in 2009, when the median monthly household income from work fell by 1.5 per cent in nominal terms, or 2.4 per cent in real terms after factoring in inflation.

In a new report released on Monday afternoon (Feb 8), the Department of Statistics (DOS) found that lower-income households were the hardest hit, with those in the bottom 10 per cent seeing a 6.1 per cent real decline in income.

In contrast, the rest of the households recorded real declines of 1.4 per cent to 3.2 per cent.

Everything we hope to learn from 3 historic missions to Mars

With missions from three nations expected to reach the Red Planet this month, 2021 might be the most illuminating year in the history of Mars research.

Earthlings have been sending probes and robots to and near Mars since the 1960s, and dozens have successfully captured images and data about the planet, gradually revealing its desert mysteries. We've learned a bit about its geology and atmosphere, found ice, and uncovered compelling evidence that Mars was once home to blue oceans.

Now, we're looking deeper. The looming missions will search for evidence of past life on Mars, gather a complete picture of the planet's weather systems, prepare soil samples to be picked up by a future mission, and even attempt the first flight on Mars (via a small helicopter).

How NASA makes sure it doesn’t contaminate other worlds

We’re literally just days away from the arrival of NASA’s Perseverance rover on Mars. The rover is packed with advanced scientific instruments that could teach us incredible things about the Red Planet, and the samples it collects and prepares for eventual study on Earth have the potential to tell us what Mars was like in the distant past, and perhaps even if it once hosted life in some form.

One thing that definitely won’t be arriving on Mars along with the rover is bacteria, viruses, or any other Earthly microbes. NASA goes to extreme lengths to ensure that its missions have virtually zero chance of contaminating other worlds. This is important for a variety of reasons, but perhaps the most important is that we’re still searching for life in the cosmos, and when we find it, we want to make sure we’re right about it.

Mike Rowe: Americans Are Realizing "The Price Of Safety Is Devastating"

"Several months ago, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said no measure, no matter how draconian, could be deemed unwise if it saves but a single life," the "Six Degrees with Mike Rowe" host told Martha MacCallum.

"I got a lot of flak when he said that, because I said, 'That is a safety-first way of thinking', and deep down we're not a safety-first society."

"Now we're starting to see the price of safety is devastating," Rowe added.

"What is happening right now in the energy industry is really the thing that I think we ought to be focused on, because there feels to me, and feels to a lot of people I talk to on a day-to-day basis, like a concerted effort to wage a kind of war against energy. It's not a war we can win, especially with regard to fossil fuels and all of the jobs that are wrapped up in that industry. I don't mean to sound like an apologist, but I know of no greater investor in alternative energy than the fossil fuel industry."

Ice jam pushes St. Clair River to record levels, triggers devastating floods in Michigan, U.S.

Houses and main roads in southeastern St. Clair County, Michigan, were flooded on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, after ice jams pushed the St. Clair River to a record high of 176.3 m (578.5 feet).

U.S. and Canadian coast guards have sent icebreaking ships to the St. Clair River after ice build-up caused devastating floods to southeastern St. Clair County, from Algonac to Port Huron.

"I’ve lived here for about 45 years now and the water is higher than I’ve ever seen it," said Algonac resident Bill Gratopp. High waters were also reported in East China Township and Marine City.

According to a statement from the U.S. coast guard, the Canadian Coast Guard Ship Griffon was underway on Tuesday evening, February 2, flushing ice that is contributing to the significant floods.

A flood warning has been issued by the St. Clair County after the river reached record levels of 176.3 m (578.5 feet)

COVID Detainment Facilities Go From ‘Conspiracy Theory’ To Official Govt Policy In 3 Months

“I ask this government if people should prepare for internment camps,” Ontario provincial member of parliament (MPP) Randy Hillier asked the central Canadian province’s legislature during Question Period on October 7, 2020.

Covid Detainment Facilities Go From 'conspiracy Theory' To Official Govt Policy In 3 Months
During his inquiry over the country’s policy to detain citizens, Hillier’s microphone was cut and he was silenced and told to sit down.

His words would not go unnoticed, however, and the internet picked up on it and the memes began to flow on how Canada was about to start involuntarily detaining COVID-19 patients in government facilities.

It is important to note that Hillier’s claims were blown out of proportion online with disinformation flowing freely about children being taken from parents to people being held in these facilities “for the rest of their lives.” None of this is true.

Biden’s Release of COVID-Untested Migrants ‘Unconscionable,’ Says Texas Democrat Senator

A Texas Democrat state senator called the release by Border Patrol of migrant families who have not been tested for COVID-19 “unconscionable.” The senator’s comments followed the release of large numbers of migrant families in the Rio Grande Valley who have not been tested for Coronavirus.

“[Border Patrol agents] were just dropping them off at the bus station without testing them. Obviously, that’s very alarming to all of us in that they’re coming from Central America and through Mexico and to be released into the United States without being tested for COVID is really unconscionable,” Texas State Senator Jose “Chuy” Hinojosa (D-McAllen) told Border Report on Wednesday afternoon.

In response to a request from the mayor of McAllen, Texas, state health officials shipped 10,000 COVID-19 test kits to the city.

The total number of released migrants in question remains officially undisclosed.

Woman's Entire Family Dies After She Hides Positive COVID Test

The family of a Venezuelan woman who tested positive for coronavirus died after she concealed her diagnosis from them.

Verónica García Fuentes, 36, from the state of Tachira in Venezuela, fell ill with a fever in mid-December. She took a PCR test which came back positive and isolated herself at home, but she told her husband and children she had a bad case of the flu.

According to the Venezuelan newspaper La Nación, Fuentes may have kept her COVID-19 diagnosis a secret out of fear. At the end of December, she told her husband José Antonio, 33, she had coronavirus as he was on his way to a family party to stop him from mixing with other relatives.

In January, Fuentes developed pneumonia but her husband and three children, one aged 17 and twins aged four, all tested negative in a rapid test.

Two weeks later, Fuentes' condition deteriorated and she was admitted to hospital. The rest of her family then tested positive for COVID-19, but appeared to be asymptomatic.

Bill Gates predicts next two disasters facing mankind - climate change and bio-terrorism

The Microsoft co-founder famously warned the world in 2015 of the likelihood of a new pandemic caused by a respiratory virus, like the coronavirus. In a talk organised by TED media and titled 'The next outbreak? We're not ready', Mr Gates stressed that it would be the emergence of a new virus and not war that would wipe out millions of human beings. He said: "If anything kills over 10 million people in the next few decades, it’s likely to be a highly infectious virus rather than a war.

“Not missiles, but microbes."

Now, in an interview with Derek Muller, host of the YouTube channel "Veritasium", the software entrepreneur outlined what he believed to be the next deadly threats facing humankind.

"One is climate change. Every year that would be a death toll even greater than we have had in this pandemic," Mr Gates said.

He then went on to name the second, even more terrifying danger lurking out there, as bio-terrorism.

A deadly E. coli outbreak is hitting the US, and the source is unknown

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has issued an investigation notice into the ongoing outbreak of a specific strain of E. coli across the United States. The multi-state outbreak has already resulted in 9 hospitalizations out of 16 confirmed cases. Sadly, one individual has already died as a result of their infection.

The most distressing part about this notice is that there’s no recall associated with it, and CDC officials have yet to be able to track down the cause. This isn’t necessarily out of the ordinary, as outbreaks tend to be identified before a cause is confirmed, but the fact that this strain of E. coli appears to cause such severe reactions makes it all the more important to identify the source of the outbreak as fast as possible.

Yellowstone volcano: USGS pinpoints next supereruption date amid ‘overdue’ concerns

The caldera inside Yellowstone National Park spreads over the three states of Wyoming, Idaho and Montana and poses a significant threat in the event of a supereruption. The system is constantly monitored by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) for any changes, despite such an event not occurring in more than 640,000 years. Over the years, there have been many unsupported claims that the supervolcano is “overdue” an eruption, after the average time between each event was calculated.

But scientist-in-charge of the Yellowstone Volcano Observatory, Dr Poland, sought to put an end to that in the USGS’s recent update on their YouTube channel.

He said: “I thought I'd start out this month's update by talking about one of the most common misconceptions about Yellowstone, and that is a big explosive eruption at Yellowstone is overdue.

“This isn't true, and there are two reasons why this is the case.

Remastered images reveal how far Alan Shepard hit a golf ball on the Moon

Fifty years ago this week, NASA astronaut Alan B. Shepard Jr. made space history when he took a few golf swings on the Moon during the Apollo 14 mission, successfully hitting two golf balls across the lunar surface. Space enthusiasts have debated for decades just how far that second ball traveled. It seems we now have an answer, thanks to the efforts of imaging specialist Andy Saunders, who digitally enhanced archival images from that mission and used them to estimate the final resting spots of the golf balls.

Saunders, who has been working with the United States Golf Association (USGA) to commemorate Shepard's historical feat, announced his findings in a Twitter thread. Saunders concluded that the first golf ball Shepard hit traveled roughly 24 yards, while the second golf ball traveled 40 yards.

Rocket Report: SpaceX sets new reuse record, Astra valued at $2.1 billion

A Falcon 9 rocket launched yet another batch of 60 Starlink satellites into low Earth orbit early on Thursday morning, Spaceflight Now reports. The mission was nominal, launching from Space Launch Complex 40 at Cape Canaveral Space Force Station at 1:19am local time.

Working toward rapid reuse ... The rocket used for this stage had previously flown four missions, most recently launching Turksat 5A on January 8. As Eric Ralph of Teslarati noted, this crushed SpaceX's current turnaround record by more than 25 percent, from 37 to 27 days. This booster, B1060, became the first Falcon 9 first stage to launch twice in less than a month. Turnaround time used to be four months, and now it's four weeks. (submitted by Ken the Bin)

NASA picks Elon Musk's SpaceX to help with a $99 million mission that will map the creation of the universe

NASA has picked Elon Musk's SpaceX to launch a telescope into orbit for a two-year astrophysics mission starting 2024, the agency said in a press release on Thursday.

The mission, called SPHEREx, will cost NASA about $98.8 million.

SPHEREx is a space telescope that NASA said would survey the sky in near-infrared light, which the human eye can't see. The data that it collects would help astronomers understand the evolution of the universe and the creation of galaxies, it said.

The mission was due to launch in June 2024, and would blast off on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket from Space Launch Complex-4E at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California, NASA said.

Lost Alaskan Indigenous fort rediscovered after 200 years

In 1804, Tlingit warriors sheltered behind the walls of a wooden fort on a peninsula in southeastern Alaska, preparing to repel a Russian amphibious assault. An archaeological survey near the modern community of Sitka recently revealed the hidden outline of the now-legendary fort, whose exact location had been lost to history since shortly after the battle.

The coolest battle you never heard of
The Tlingit had already sent Russia packing once, in 1802, after three years of mounting tensions over the Russian-American Trading Company (a venture akin to the better-known British East India Company), which had a presence on what is now called Baranof Island. Because the Tlingit elders—especially a shaman named Stoonook—suspected that the Russian troops would soon be back in greater numbers, they organized construction of a fort at the mouth of the Kaasdaheen River to help defend the area against assault from the sea.

'A slap in the face': Arizona ER doctor fired after talking about severity of COVID-19 pandemic

Dr. Cleavon Gilman, a well-known emergency-medicine physician, has been asked not to return to work at a hospital in Yuma, Arizona for his social media posts about the severity of the COVID-19 pandemic in the state, according to him and his staffing agency.

"What I don't understand about this is I have been advocating for Arizona; I have been calling for a mask mandate, the closure of schools and indoor dining," Gilman told The Arizona Republic, part of the USA TODAY Network. "I did all of this because we are seeing an unprecedented number of cases. This is my third surge — I know how this ends."

The hospital, Yuma Regional Medical Center, said in a statement late Thursday night that "there has been a misunderstanding" and Gilman is scheduled to work this weekend.

"News to me," Gilman tweeted.

Mystery sound shakes Southern Arizona

TUCSON, Ariz. (KOLD News 13) - Another mystery rumble shook homes and rattled windows across Tucson on Wednesday, Feb. 3. It struck at approximately 12:12 pm.

We’ve been inundated with hundreds of messages on Facebook; people from near Green Valley all the way to Picture Rocks report feeling or hearing it.

I felt it on the northwest side and would describe it as feeling like a seismic waveform originating from the ground and not the sky.

I called the local military installations including Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Luke Air Force Base, and the 162nd Fighter Wing. None report any of their aircraft reporting a sonic boom.

A check of the U.S. Geological Survey shows no earthquake activity in Arizona today.

How Phony Coronavirus “Fear Videos” Were Used as Psychological Weapons to Bring America to Her Knees

If you were online during January 2020 you likely saw the barrage of video clips that were supposedly coming out of China depicting ghastly “Coronavirus” scenes.

Most of those videos have been quietly wiped off the internet, but back in January and February those grisly videos were a viral sensation and they scared the sense out of Americans.

The videos captured supposed Coronavirus victims in various stages of pandemic horror. Some showed people foaming at the mouth and collapsing in the streets, while others featured ominous government officials wearing Hazmat suits, hovering over lifeless bodies struck down from the virus.

It was a virtual buffet of fear-porn, and Americans couldn’t get enough of it.

Petition EN2192 - No Resrictions on Those Who Refuse a Covid 19 Vaccination

Petition Reason
We want the Government to confirm that there will be no restrictions placed on citizens or residents who refuse a COVID-19 vaccination. This includes restrictions on travel, right to re-enter the country, social events such as concerts or sports, and access to shops, restaurants, bars, clubs, etc. I believe that such a move would be against our human rights as outlined in the UNESCO Bioethics & Human Rights 2005, as well as Australian Rules on Consent to Medical Treatment and the Ethical Standards of Helsinki. Consent should be voluntary and informed.

By Brandon Morse | Feb 04, 2021 12:45 PM ET

CNBC host Shepard Smith received a video out of Florida that he deemed “shocking?” What’s shocking about it?

Nothing. It’s just people living normally with no masks.

“WATCH: This shocking video from @SamBrockNBC shows a market in Naples, FL where many customers and employees are not wearing face masks. Florida does not have a mask mandate, but the CDC has said that wearing masks can help control the Covid pandemic.

“We all fantasize about a time when we won’t have to wear the masks anymore,” said Smith. “It’s not now.”

“But some at a supermarket in Florida appear to have decided that the time is now,” he continued.

The Globalists Are Gonna Need A Bigger Virus As Economic Fraud Is Exposed

It is a general rule that corrupt economies tend to operate on faith and not on fundamentals. And to be clear, it’s not so much about naive faith that the system is stable or functional. No, it’s more about the masses having faith that the corruption and instability will never be derailed. Most people are not as stupid as the establishment and central bankers think they are – Almost everyone knows the system is broken, they just refuse to consider the possibility that the fraud will be disrupted, or that it will be allowed to fail.

The old mantra “too big to fail” is a lie. NOTHING is too big to fail, and that includes the US economy, the dollar and the elaborate Kabuki theater that keeps them both afloat. All it takes is a single moment, an epiphany that the Ponzi scheme is unsustainable rather than unstoppable.

I’m reminded specifically of the inflationary crisis of Argentina in 2001 – 2002.
