Wandering Joe Biden Gets Lost Again After Delivering Remarks

On Thursday, President Biden took a short trip to the FEMA headquarters to give remarks on the federal response to Hurricane Ian and meet with FEMA Administrator Deanne Criswell. Following his remarks, Biden turned and saunted away from the podium...in the wrong direction as his FEMA chief called after him to try and put him back in the correct direction. But he didn't hear or chose to ignore Criswell and continued wandering into a FEMA work area where he seemingly searched for a way out, failed to find one, and started shaking hands with employees.

The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear a case about vaccine requirements in New York City that was once denied by liberal US Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor. This could lead to a huge ruling about how much power state and local governments have, the Conservative Brief reported.

Former Vice President of the United States Joe Biden at the Fourth of July Iowa Cubs game at Principal Park in Des Moines, Iowa.

President Joe Biden called for the late Rep. Jackie Walorski (R-IN) to appear during a live event on hunger and nutrition Wednesday. Walorski was killed in a car accident last month, and Biden had previously called her family to offer condolences.

Though the White House attempted to spin his faux pas as a mere sign that Walorski was “top of mind,” describing it as the kind of mistake that anyone   could make, the embarrassing error was the latest evidence that Biden may not be mentally competent to hold the office of president.

And yet there is no talk about removing him from office, using the 25th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution, under which the Vice President and the Cabinet submit a written statement to the leaders of Congress that the President is unable to discharge his duties. When President Donald Trump was in office, the media talked constantly about the 25th Amendment. There were even reports that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein tried to invoke the 25th Amendment and replace Trump with Vice President Mike Pence.

An information technology company that supports U.S. defense and intelligence apparently was victimized by a ransomware attack.

BlackCat, a ransomware outfit also known by the names ALPHV and Noberus, alerted IT company NJVC about the breach.

"We strongly recommend that you contact us to discuss your situation," BlackCat told NJVC, according to a DarkFeed tweet early Thursday morning. "Otherwise, the confidential data in our possession will be released in stages every 12 hours.

"There is a lot of material. We look forward to your feedback. It's in your best interest."

NJVC, an IT company that supports the federal government and the Department of Defense, earns $290 million in revenue from the U.S., according to DarkFeed.

Radical Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has fired back at people who argue that men cannot get pregnant by suggesting that they also believe that “climate change isn’t real.”

On Thursday, Ocasio-Cortez erupted during a House hearing when a Republican member stated that biological males cannot get pregnant.

The dispute came up during a House Oversight Committee hearing about abortion.

During the same hearing, AOC also claimed that abortion was an economic issue because parents are effectively “conscripted” to work against their will if women are not allowed to have an abortion.

Planned Parenthood Dr. Bhavik Kumar claimed in response to a question from Rep. Andrew Clyde (R-GA) that “men can have pregnancies, especially trans men.”

“Somebody with a uterus may have the capability of becoming pregnant, whether they’re a woman or a man,” Kumar claimed.

“That doesn’t make a difference.”

“OK, we’re done,” Clyde replied.

Russia has stated that pipeline leaks emitting natural gas into the sea are the result of state-sponsored terrorism.

The European Union is investigating the cause of the leaks in the Gazprom-led Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines under the Baltic Sea and has said it suspects sabotage.

“This looks like some kind of terrorist act, possibly at the state level,” Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters, according to TASS news.

“This is an extremely dangerous situation that requires urgent investigation,” he stressed.

A day before, Peskov dismissed claims that Moscow was behind the damage to the pipelines and described those allegations as “predictably stupid.”

In Massachusetts, the state Department of Public Health told medical examiners that if the person died with COVID, to list COVID as a cause of death, even if COVID had nothing to do with the reason the person died.

I know this because one of my state medical examiner friends in Massachusetts was told to do this. My friend won’t speak out about this publicly because he (or she) needs his (or her) job.

This is a violation of federal law.

This could be happening in other states as well. I would not be surprised.

Judicial Watch announced that it received productions of new records totaling 102 pages from the Department of Justice (DOJ) related to the shooting of January 6 protestor Ashli Babbitt that include a memo recommending “that the United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia decline for criminal prosecution the fatal shooting of Ashli McEntee [Babbitt],” also noting that the shooter, U.S. Capitol Police Lt. Michael Byrd, “did not create a police report or documents” related to the shooting of Babbitt.

The documents also reveal that in the press release announcing the decision not to prosecute Byrd for the killing of Babbitt, the DOJ replaced the words “group” and “crowd” with the word “mob” several times.

The unarmed Babbitt was shot and killed as she climbed through a broken interior window in the United States Capitol. She was a 14-year Air Force veteran. The identity of the shooter was kept secret by Congress, the Justice Department, and DC police for eight months until Byrd went public to try to defend his killing of Babbitt.

Methane leaking from yet-to-be explained damage on the Nord Stream 1 and 2 pipelines is likely to be the biggest burst of the potent greenhouse gas on record, raising new fears of the effect on the climate emergency.

The Nord Stream pipeline from Russia to Germany on Thursday was pumping huge volumes of methane into the Baltic Sea as well as the atmosphere – as much as five times more than escaped in the Aliso Canyon disaster – the largest known terrestrial release of methane in US history.

Webmaster addition: So, while the US Government talks a good game about the environment, they did not hesitate to unleash a massive methane leak just to score some economic points with Europe!

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer railed against Republican opposition to the White House's student debt forgiveness plan during a press conference on Thursday.

He was joined by 'Squad' members Reps. Ayanna Pressley and Ilhan Omar and Rep. Mondaire Jones.

'Those damn Republicans,' the New York Democrat exclaimed earlier during the day.

'They are bellyaching, you know, when anyone helps regular people. When they give tax cuts to the rich, they say they're helping the middle class. When we help the middle class, they say we're helping the rich.'

Later on Thursday evening, Republican opposition escalated even further when Arizona became the seventh state to sue the Biden administration over the student loan policy.

Republican Attorney General Mark Brnovich announced the lawsuit on Twitter hours after a joint legal challenge from Nebraska, Missouri, Arkansas, Iowa, Kansas and South Carolina.

'This mass debt forgiveness program is fundamentally unfair, unconstitutional, and unwise,' Brnovich said in a statement.

The Biden administration quietly announced a change in its student debt forgiveness program on Thursday that could exclude up to 4 million borrowers with loans owned or backed by private companies.

The u-turn by the federal government comes after the first legal challenges were filed to the policy and following criticism of the huge costs to taxpayers. Critics also claimed the plan is an illegal use of President Joe Biden's executive power.

The Education Department announced that privately-held loans won't qualify for the relief plan, which the Congressional Budget Office said earlier this week could cost $400billion over a decade.

Webmaster addition: Biden got the hopes up in a lot of debt-ridden students and now pulls the plug. That will piss them off at the midterm elections!

Soros-backed candidate for Arizona’s Maricopa County District Attorney has ties to and is endorsed by multiple Soros-backed organizations that seek to abolish Immigrations and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and open our border.

Julie Gunnigle, the Soros-backed candidate for district attorney in Arizona’s Maricopa County, has connections to several organizations that want to abolish ICE and open our southern border.

The Maricopa County Attorney’s Office is the third largest prosecutorial agency in the United States, heightening the stakes of this election.

Gunnigle boasted that she has “built relationships with” and is “in conversation with folks like… LUCHA,” referring to a Soros-backed organization that seeks to abolish ICE. LUCHA, which stands for Living United for Change in Arizona, has received a whopping $1.75 million from Soros’s Open Society Foundations since 2017. The leftist organization has advocated for the abolition of ICE, which is tasked with securing our border.

Senate Judiciary Republicans sent a letter to the Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) and Justice Department demanding answers to why Catholic pro-life activist Mark Houck was not allowed to self-report for his arrest and arraignment and whether political considerations were made to approve and execute the search warrant.

The letter sent to FBI Director Christopher Wray and Attorney General Merrick Garland from the Senate Judiciary Republicans demands answers concerning the search warrant and arrest of the pro-life speaker, which happened while his “screaming” children watched in horror.

“Based on reports and allegations, the actions taken by the FBI reasonably call into question whether they complied with DOJ’s use of force policy. The FBI must explain their justification for their actions on September 23, 2022,” wrote the senators.

Houck, the founder and president of The King’s Men — a group dedicated to helping men become better husbands, fathers, and leaders — was arrested at his rural Pennsylvania home last week for allegedly violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act.

A Russian billionaire was criminally charged in New York with violating U.S. sanctions in an indictment unsealed Thursday that also charges three others in a scheme to ensure his child was born in the United States.

The Russian oligarch, Oleg Deripaska, 52, has faced economic sanctions since 2018, when he was designated for them by the U.S. Treasury Department, which said he had acted for or on behalf of a senior Russian official and had operated in the energy sector of the Russian economy.

Andrew C. Adams, a Manhattan federal prosecutor who heads a task force pursuing crimes by Russian oligarchs, said in a release that Deripaska had lied and evaded U.S. sanctions as he sought to benefit from life in America 'despite his cozy ties with the Kremlin and his vast wealth acquired through ties to a corrupt regime.'

The U.S. economy was even weaker in the first half of the year than previously thought, data from the Commerce Department indicated on Thursday.

Gross Domestic Product contracted by 1.6 percent in the first three months of 2022 and by 0.6 percent in the April through June quarter, meaning the economy shrank for two consecutive quarters.

Those who argued that the economy was not actually in a recession could point to the low unemployment rate and a measure of the economy known as Gross Domestic Income, which had been reported as growing 1.8 percent in the first quarter and 1.4 percent in the second quarter.

On Thursday, the Commerce Department released revisions to its estimates of GDP and GDI. The GDP estimates were unchanged but the GDI estimates for the first half of this year were marked down sharply. First quarter GDI grew at a 0.8 percent annual rate and second quarter GDI growth was a mere 0.1 percent.

Depending on how heavily loaded they were, even assuming everyone had a full battery charge, cars from southern Florida would start running out of juice after 100 – 250 miles. They would then have to spend hours at recharging stations, which would rapidly be clogged with other cars and trucks waiting their turn, since an electricity “fill up” can easily take an hour or more, as compared to a couple of minutes for gasoline.  Cars waiting to be charged would spill onto the highways, potentially blocking traffic.

Those cars that ran out of juice on the highway would block traffic. Even assuming that emergency service vehicles could get to them (unlikely if the entire fleet were electric cars), towing a portable generator (powered by fossil fuels, of course) and recharging the stalled vehicles would take plenty of time, as well, further blocking traffic.  The stranded cars would, of course, have no air conditioning, no wipers, no GPS.

In all likelihood, the highways would become vast parking lots, trapping their passengers wherever they happened to be stalled, waiting for the storm and flood waters to reach them, unable to get to safety.

The Yemeni government said Thursday it has signed a deal worth $200 million with Saudi Arabia to provide fuel to war-torn Yemen.

Under the deal, the Saudi Development and Reconstruction Program for Yemen (SDRPY) will provide 250,000 metric tons of oil derivatives to Yemen, the state news agency Saba reported.

Saba said the deal will help increase the capabilities of Yemeni government institutions and the stability of electric power in various government and private institutions and the industrial sector.

Yemen has recently experienced a severe electricity crisis amid a fuel shortage in the war-ravaged nation.

Yemen has been engulfed by violence and instability since 2014 when Iranian-aligned Houthi rebels captured much of the country, including the capital Sanaa.

The Saudi-led coalition entered the war in early 2015 to restore the government to power.

Slowly but surely, the bureaucracy that imposed restrictive, destructive, and ineffective pandemic policies are quietly dropping the rules as we head into the November election.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has eased its universal masking recommendation for nursing homes and hospital. The only exception would be for facilities in areas seeing high levels of covid transmission.

Earlier in the pandemic, everyone was asked to wear well-fitting masks or respirators in health care settings. Later, exceptions included that visitors could “choose not to wear source control” if they had updated vaccines and were alone together with those they were visiting, CBS News reported. Another exception allowed staff who were up to date on vaccines to unmask when not with patients.

Three Russian cosmonauts returned safely Thursday from a mission to the International Space Station.

The Soyuz MS-21 spacecraft carrying Oleg Artemyev, Denis Matveyev and Sergey Korsakov touched down softly at 4:57 p.m. at a designated site in the steppes of Kazakhstan, 150 kilometers (90 miles) southeast of the city of Zhezkazgan.

The trio had arrived at the space station in March. For Artemyev, the mission marked a third space flight, bringing his total time spent in orbit to 561 days. Matveyev and Korsakov each logged 195 days on their first missions.

As the Soyuz capsule was descending, using a big striped red-and-white parachute under clear skies, Artemyev reported to Mission Control that all members of the crew were feeling fine.

On Saturday, September 23, Israeli forces shot and killed 36-year-old, Mohammad Awad in Beit Ijza near Jerusalem claiming he attempted a ramming attack against soldiers. The Palestinian foreign ministry reported that Awad was “defenseless” and did not pose a danger to his executioners.

Less than 24 hours later, Israeli forces assassinated 23-year-old resistance fighter, Sa’ed Al-Koni, in Nablus. His body remains withheld by the Israeli military, an illegal practice that Israeli authorities continue to implement punitively.

Another three resistance fighters were injured in the military ambush and managed to escape in a car, while the motorcycle which Al-Koni was riding erupted into flames. Al-Koni is the 18th Palestinian to be killed in Nablus by Israeli military operations.

It’s only fitting that literally hours after the most clueless dwarf in capital markets history, Janet “No crisis in my lifetime” Yellen said that financial markets are functioning well, that the Bank of England literally panicked, and shocked markets by resuming unlimited QE.

“We haven’t seen liquidity problems develop in markets — we’re not seeing, to the best of my knowledge, the kind of deleveraging that could signify some financial stability risks,” Yellen said in answering reporters’ questions Tuesday on a trip to North Carolina.

Fast forward just a few hours when the the Bank of England saw quite a few “liquidity problems” when it cited “significant repricing of UK and global financial assets… This repricing has become more significant in the past day – and it is particularly affecting long-dated UK government debt.” It warned that “were dysfunction in this market to continue or worsen, there would be a material risk to UK financial stability” and used that to justify the end of QT (before it even started) and the restart of QE.

There is no bigger threat to democracy in our country than the power of Big Tech companies to control what information we as citizens are allowed to share. The monopoly power that companies such as Google and Facebook have over the online advertising market gives the far-left employees of these firms far too much control over what ideas can be shared on their platforms.

Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and John Kennedy (R-LA) dealt a huge blow to these monopolists last week when they successfully attached an amendment to the Journalism Competition and Preservation Act that forbids Big Tech firms and online publishers from forming an agreement on how to censor content online.

After decades of lax antitrust enforcement at the Federal Trade Commission, both Google and Facebook have been able to merge their way into monopoly positions in the online advertising marketplace. Using their ill-gotten market power, Google and Facebook are able to capture about half of all online advertising spending. This is why even though news site traffic has been up 40% since 2014, the revenues that publishers collect have been down 58%.

The Kremlin said on Friday that attacks against any part of the swathe of Ukraine that president Vladimir Putin was about to annex would be considered aggression against Russia itself, adding that Russia would fight to take the whole of the Donbas region.

Russian resident Vladimir Putin is due to proclaim the annexation of more than 15 per cent of Ukraine on Friday, escalating his seven-month war and taking it into an unpredictable new phase.

Moscow is declaring Ukraine's Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions, largely or partly occupied by Russian or Russian-backed forces, to be part of Russia.
