Sobering yet hopeful, ‘Common Ground’ exposes the toxic interconnections of American farming policy, politics, and health, by sharing stories of destruction and healing across the United States and beyond, and how regenerative agriculture and soil health plays a vitally important role in changing these systems for the better. Weissmann was likely basing his assertions on Hutchinson's own testimony to the J6 House Select Committee, which is contradicted in her own text messages. The text messages revealed in the lawsuit Passantino has levied against Weissmann show, as does Hutchinson's other tesimony, that she believes he did not tell her to lie at any point, and that she herself did not want to "comply," but her attorney instructed her to. The messages further reveal that Hutchinson had a plan to leak details of her testimony to the press because she feared the J6 House Special Committee—not her lawyer—would leak them to press.

Federal prosecutors charged Sen. Bob Menendez, D-N.J., and his wife with violating corruption and bribery laws, according to an indictment unsealed in federal court Friday.

The Biden administration has lost another green energy agenda battle after a federal judge blocked the president’s effort to restrict oil and gas drilling in the Gulf of Mexico.

Late Thursday evening, U.S. District Judge James Cain of the Western District of Louisiana issued a preliminary injunction after the administration’s last-minute attempt to halt an upcoming offshore oil and gas lease sale in the Gulf, Fox News Digital reported.

Cain granted the request “from plaintiffs — the State of Louisiana, industry association American Petroleum Institute (API) and oil companies Chevron and Shell — to block the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management’s (BOEM) restrictions on Lease Sale 261. The lease sale spanning millions of acres across the Gulf of Mexico is slated for next week,” the outlet added.

Eric Holder, who led the Justice Department as attorney general under President Barack Obama, called on Sen. Bob Menendez to resign after the New Jersey Democrat and his wife were indicted on federal bribery charges Friday.

“As both a leader in the Democratic Party & the former Attorney General and given the nature of the charges, I call upon Senator Menendez to resign,” Holder wrote on X.com of the chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. “The nation will be better served if he steps aside and allows a transition to occur that will best serve the people of New Jersey.”

A fourth IRS official has told Congress about roadblocks that now-special counsel David Weiss faced last year in attempting to bring charges against Hunter Biden outside his district in Delaware.

Darrell Waldon, the former IRS special agent in charge of the agency’s Washington field office, told the House Ways and Means Committee in a closed-door interview earlier this month about a number of challenges he witnessed during his two years on the case, according to a transcript of the interview obtained by the Washington Examiner.

Waldon also discussed the IRS’s decision to remove a whistleblower, Gary Shapley, and the rest of Shapley’s IRS investigative team from the Hunter Biden investigation after Weiss stated he was no longer on speaking terms with Shapley.

“Mr. Weiss went to the U.S. Attorney’s Office — I can’t recall the dates — and they did not agree to prosecute the case in D.C.,” Waldon, who in February took another job within the IRS that moved him away from the Hunter Biden case, said.

My heart breaks for the tragic loss of that innocent three-year-old boy. It’s devastating to hear that he drowned in the Rio Grande while his family was attempting to enter the United States.

The news reports reveal the heartbreaking details of the incident. The boy’s lifeless body was discovered by Texas Department of Public Safety officers north of the marine barrier in Eagle Pass, Texas, on Wednesday afternoon. State troopers did their best to save him, rushing him to a nearby hospital, but despite their efforts, he was declared dead.

We still don’t know the nationality of the victim, but this tragedy highlights the dangers of illegal border crossings. As a concerned mother, I can’t help but echo the sentiments of Texas Department of Public Safety spokesman Chris Olivares, who wrote on social media, “Another senseless tragedy due to the Federal Government’s absence in discouraging unlawful border crossings between the ports of entry & lack of implementing preventive measures.”

A federal prosecutor blocked then-Delaware US Attorney David Weiss from bringing tax charges against first son Hunter Biden in Southern California late last year, a third IRS official has testified to Congress.

IRS Director of Field Operations Michael Batdorf told the House Ways and Means Committee earlier this month that US Attorney E. Martin Estrada of the Central District of California had declined to partner with Weiss on the case, forcing him to look elsewhere.

The Delaware prosecutor revealed the setback to Batdorf and IRS special agent in charge Darrell Waldon in a December 2022 phone call, according to a transcript of Batdorf’s Sept. 12 interview reviewed by The Post.

“He just said that they had declined and he had to make the decision on where he was going to go,” Batdorf said of the conversation with Weiss.

We can only take case by case and examine the evidence. Kyriakopoulos et al describe a single case of a fatal basaloid craniofacial cancer that occurred within 5 months of vaccination. A new report claims that Bob Iger, CEO of the woke Walt Disney Company, does not see the culture war issues that have increasingly been consuming the country as healthy for the company’s business, and their bottom line, and he wants to  “quiet the noise.”

Bounding Into Comics reports that Laura Martin, a Needham financial analyst who attended a recent investor event at Walt Disney World, provided their outlet with a report in which she explains that Iger “believes ‘content should be entertaining, not issues-focused.'” She continues that “Iger’s ‘key goal’ is to ‘Quiet the Noise’ because culture wars are not healthy for [Disney’s] business.”

Disney has suffered a 56 percent market cap free fall with losses nearing $200 billion. The woke agenda isn’t paying the bills.

Reuters reports Iger said during the meeting, “Our primary mission needs to be to entertain … and to have a positive impact on the world. I’m very serious about that. It should not be agenda-driven.”

The doctor who oversees the medical care for all 535 members of Congress is facing new scrutiny after he essentially gave Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell positive updates on his health.

The criticism of Dr. Brian Monahan comes after he essentially gave the Kentucky Republican passing health grades after McConnell had two back-to-back “freezing” episodes, one during his weekly press conference in Washington, D.C., last month and the other at an event in his home state shortly afterward.

Monahan’s rosy diagnoses “have drawn scrutiny and contradicted other doctors’ reported impressions of the top Republican’s condition,” Axios reported last week.

“Monahan’s role as a medical doctor for Congress has gained more attention as McConnell has remained committed to staying in office following multiple health episodes this year,” the report continued.

Monahan, a Navy doctor who has served as the congressional physician for 15 years, is also responsible for taking care of Supreme Court justices, staff members, and even tourists, The New York Times reported.
