Thought for the day
"Suppose you were an idiot. And suppose you were a member of Government. <br>But then, I repeat myself. " -- Mark Twain (1835- 1910)
If there ever was a company who’s business model was affected by the clotshot, it’s the life insurance companies… and they keep a tight watch on all trends that would affect their bottom line. Notice how everyone still is dancing around the real cause… it seems like everyone knows but no one wants to say, making for an interesting song and dance routine. Should they not be able to statistically prove the cause, with all the data they can gather? Maybe the reason, is that the life insurance companies have a vested interest in dealing with the increase in death, but not identifying the cause?
The pandemic while being hard on many industries, created a boost and flood of capital into the real estate market. Housing has been one of the hottest sectors since Covid-19 came on the world stage. Now that we are overheating with inflation, those juicy low mortgage rates are no longer here. People are now maxed out on easy credit and the bill has come due in the form of inflation – we now need to tame it. The Fed has nearly no choice now but to boost rates as more in the public start realizing the challenge of using funny money to jack up home prices to crowd out young buyers. In fact, nearly 30 percent of young adults now live at home with their parents. This is a record in our modern era and speaks to the current housing market. Higher rates are cooling the market down at a time when Americans are debt strapped.

The “death map” tells the story of decades of sickness in the small northwest New Mexico communities of Murray Acres and Broadview Acres. Turquoise arrows point to homes where residents had thyroid disease, dark blue arrows mark cases of breast cancer, and yellow arrows mean cancer claimed a life.
Neighbors built the map a decade ago after watching relatives and friends fall ill and die. Dominating the top right corner of the map, less than half a mile from the cluster of colorful arrows, sits what residents believe is the cause of their sickness: 22.2 million tons of uranium waste left over from milling ore to supply power plants and nuclear bombs.

“We were sacrificed a long time ago,” said Candace Head-Dylla, who created the death map with her mother after Head-Dylla had her thyroid removed and her mother developed breast cancer. Research has linked both types of illnesses to uranium exposure.
Beginning in 1958, a uranium mill owned by Homestake Mining Company of California processed and refined ore mined nearby. The waste it left behind leaked uranium and selenium into groundwater and released the cancer-causing gas radon into the air. State and federal regulators knew the mill was polluting groundwater almost immediately after it started operating, but years passed before they informed residents and demanded fixes.
Senate Democrats on Sunday passed Joe Biden’s massive tax-and-spend bill dubbed the ‘Inflation Reduction Act.’
The bill was passed in a 51-50 party-line vote after a 2-day vote-a-rama.
How many Americans have known someone who died from heroin or fentanyl overdose in the last 15 years?
In November the CDC announced that over 100,000 Americans died from overdose in 2021. This was another new record and followed Dr. Fauci’s devastating lockdowns and Joe Biden’s open border policies.
It’s common knowledge that open border policies mean more illegal drugs on American streets. Fentanyl is the most lethal drug ever created.
Recently, Matt Wood from KMOV news in St. Louis released a documentary on the fentanyl crisis in St. Louis, Missouri.
Matt spent months digging into the fentanyl crisis in St. Louis.

The ecstatic callowness of the media is jaw-droppingly stupid when it comes to opining on Russia in general and Putin in particular. Consider first these headlines from the Washington Post’s opinion page.

The Senate on Sunday passed the Democrats’ sweeping economic package that would allocate billions of taxpayer dollars to facilitate the expansion of the Internal Revenue Service’s workforce.
The IRS would receive $80 billion if H.R. 5376, the $750 billion “Inflation Reduction Act” passes the House and lands on Biden’s desk. The funding would mark a 600 percent increase from 2021 when the bureau received $12.6 billion.

Smash-and-grab thieves stole more than $2 million in diamond jewelry from a Bronx jeweler Friday afternoon.
An employee buzzed in the first suspect who propped open the door and acted as lookout as three other thieves ran inside the jewelry store.
Three masked suspects smashed the display cases with hammers and stole $2.15 million worth of of gems.
The suspects ran southbound on Webster with the stolen merchandise, according to Crime Stoppers.
The suspect arrested last week for kidnapping a 12-year-old girl in Alabama is in the US illegally.
37-year-old Jose Paulino Pascual-Reyes was arrested last week after an injured 12-year-old girl was found wandering down a road in Dadeville, Alabama.
Pasqual-Reyes tied the child to a bedpost, drugged her and assaulted her before she escaped by chewing through the restraints.
When police went to search through Pasqual-Reyes’ home, they discovered two decomposing bodies – the child’s 14-year-old brother and 29-year-old mother, WSFA reported.
A U.S. army veteran who pleaded guilty to stealing $2.1 million worth of military gear from the embattled Texas base Fort Hood was sentenced last week to just a year and a half behind bars.
Jessica Elaintrell Smith, 30, had already pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy to defraud the U.S. government in April. As part of the plea deal, another count on the indictment was dropped.
Smith, along with co-conspirators Nathan Nichols and Brandon Dominic Brown, are accused of taking 68 PAS-13 scopes, 47 RT 1523 radios, nine AN-PSC 5 radios, four PVS-14 scopes, three-night vision devices, three AN/PRC 117 radios, two receiver/transmitters and one AN-VRC-90 radio sometime overnight between June 16-17, 2021.
Amnesty International on Sunday apologized for the "distress and anger" they caused by releasing a report criticizing Ukrainian forces' use of human shields.
The report detailed how Ukrainian forces were occupying populated residential areas and using them to launch attacks.
Tuesday was a big primary day and it delivered many victories for America Firsters. Immigration Patriots triumphed over Establishment rivals and showed the GOP/GAP is being remade in the image of Donald Trump (despite all his faults). The next step is for these candidates to prove an America First message can triumph in a general election.
Here’s a breakdown of the most notable contests:
- Arizona Senate Primary: Trump-endorsed Blake Masters won a resounding victory, trumping his nearest opponent by nearly 11 points.
Deaton and Case coined the term Deaths of Despair in 2015 for the depressing ways working class whites were dying in the 21st century: overdoses, suicides, and cirrhosis. Since the “racial reckoning” and de-policing began on May 25, 2020, we’ve been seeing more blacks dying Deaths of Exuberance (homicides and car crashes).
This crash that killed six was at the corner of La Brea and Slauson not too far from Los Angeles International airport. View Park-Windsor Hills is a fairly upscale neighborhood that’s 70% black. The three victims whose names have been made public so far were black, as was the causer of the crash, an ICU neuro ward travel nurse (i.e., well-paid) from Texas driving a Mercedes. Unlike her half dozen victims, she escaped with minor injuries.
Obviously, no one traffic accident can be confidently attributed to a massive social trend. But it sure looks like blacks have been driving much worse since The Establishment decided after George Floyd’s demise that America’s big problem was too much rule of law. When cops stopped stopping blacks so much after Floyd Day, black traffic deaths shot up by about 50% from May 2020 to June 2020:
A woke YMCA in Washington state banned an 80-year-old woman from the facility because she complained of a trans “woman” undressing in the women’s locker room.
The elderly woman complained that the trans woman who is a biological man was undressing among little girls from a day camp.
The woman, Port Townsend resident Julie Jaman, described what she experienced during a meeting of the city council last week.
She called the YMCA’s decision to allow the trans “woman” among the little girls a policy that put women and little girls at risk.
I never believed I would ever hear this question! But it went viral!
We have to begin with some of the pictures and face morphing videos people share. However, we have to confess that you can’t unsee the similarity once you see the similarity.

A convicted burglar was arrested late Saturday night after he executed four of his neighbors over ‘mind control.’
Bangladesh has approached the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for a multibillion-dollar loan, making it the third South Asian country – after Sri Lanka and Pakistan – to have sought financial help from the multi-lateral lender in the past two months.
Sporadic protests erupted in several of Bangladesh’s cities on Saturday in response to a significant rise in oil and gas prices. After the price rise, public transport fares also rocketed up to 35 percent. Several organizations related to transportation have suspended their operations for 24 hours and declared their sales would resume on Monday.
The Bangladesh Tank-Lorry Owners’ Association and the Petrol Pump Owners’ Association staged a 24-hr strike on Sunday. They stopped collecting fuel from the Padma, Meghna, and Jamuna depots – major oil repositories for the country in the Khulna division.
“The strike started at 8am and will continue until 8am on Monday,” Md Farhad Hossain, an official of Bangladesh Tank-Lorry Owners’
The association has been demanding 7.5 percent commission on the present fuel price.
Millions of boxes of oranges are spoiling in containers stranded at European ports as South Africa and the European Union lock horns in a dispute over import rules, citrus growers have said.
South Africa, the world’s second largest exporter of fresh citrus after Spain, filed a complaint with the World Trade Organisation (WTO) last month after the EU introduced new plant and health safety requirements that orange farmers say threaten their survival.
The measures came into force in July as ships were already at sea carrying hundreds of containers full of South African fruit to Europe, resulting in them being held up on arrival, South Africa’s Citrus Growers’ Association (CGA) says.
UK Conservative leadership contender Liz Truss said she would consider moving the British embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem if she becomes prime minister next month.
In a letter to the Conservative Friends of Israel, Truss wrote she understands the “importance and sensitivity” of the location of the British embassy in Israel.
“I’ve had many conversations with my good friend Prime Minister Lapid on this topic. Acknowledging that, I will review a move to ensure we are operating on the strongest footing within Israel.”
The U.S. became the first country to relocate its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem under former U.S. President Donald Trump.
Truss also pledged she would ensure the passage of a bill to end local councils bringing in Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) policies that target Israel.
Eight months ago, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee became involved directly in the political campaign space by founding two political action committees. Now, after the Democratic primary in Michigan this week, the influential lobby group’s political experiment can be evaluated based on months of election results in key races it chose to get involved with.
In Michigan this week, AIPAC spent nearly $8.4 million on two Democratic races. One of the races, between Reps. Andy Levin and Haley Stevens in the 11th district, became a referendum on the internal American-Jewish conversation on Israel and how the Democratic Party handles debate on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. By contrast J Street, the liberal pro-Israel group, has spent only $700,000 against Stevens over AIPAC's support.
When night falls in the Ukrainian city of Kramatorsk, just 20 km (12 miles) from the front line with Russia, police officers cruise through the dark and empty streets, looking for curfew violators, thieves and spies.
The 65,000 people remaining in the eastern industrial city, which before the war had a population of around 150,000, have to stay inside from 10 p.m. until 4 a.m.
Yet over the past week, police say they have found 33 violators: seven suspected spotters for Russian artillery, five looters - and 21 caught drinking alcohol outside in the summer heat.
The front line is just to the northeast and parts of the city have been hit by Russian shell fire. Police know to keep an eye out on office buildings and shelled residential districts that now sit empty.
Israeli air raids have continued to hit Gaza and the violence has gone into a third day on Sunday.
At least 30 Palestinians, including women and children, have been killed and over 200 injured.
It marks the latest assault by Israel on Gaza since the 11-day war in May 2021 killed hundreds and wounded thousands.
The following timeline lists major attacks carried out by Israeli forces on Gaza since 2005 when it withdrew from the Gaza Strip, a coastal enclave home to 2.3 million people:
With less than 100 days to go before the US mid-term elections, many US media outlets, polls and observers see the Democrats’ prospects dim. A new Bloomberg Economics study showed that “President Joe Biden’s party can expect to lose 30 to 40 seats in the House and a few in the Senate too, easily wiping out razor-thin Democratic majorities,” Bloomberg reported on Saturday.
Democratic Party’s favorability has been falling, due to Biden administration’s incompetence in handling foreign and domestic affairs. Inflation at a 40-year high has gravely impacted ordinary people’s life in the US and domestic racial conflict and populism are also rampant. Biden’s promises in 2020 election campaign on unity and restoring prosperity have fallen short. “Democrats suffering defeats in the upcoming midterm elections is a high probability event,” said a Beijing-based expert on international relations who asked for anonymity.
For the moment, given the difficulty of a significant improvement in terms of economy, politics and diplomacy, the Democratic Party seems to be willing to take risky gambits to rescue its unfavorable electoral situation.
Polish columnist Hanna Kramer published an article about the "US Vassals and Political Morons", where she noted that the main clash between Washington and Moscow will take place on the territory of Poland.
"It's no secret that the ruling Law and Justice party has been seeking for Poland the status of one of the world leaders for years. The White House skillfully took advantage of this desire. The goal is simple: to create a hot spot in Europe and once again flex their muscles in front of Russia," Kramer says.
She notes that the current Russophobic policy of the Polish government is programmed for many years to come. The political scientist believes that the Ukrainian conflict is the first US project against Russia. Next is Poland.
"The main battle between Washington and Moscow will unfold in Poland, which is currently in the way of the Ukrainians! Meanwhile, a growing atmosphere of Russophobia reigns in our country. <...> Citizens of Poland and Ukraine are cannon fodder for the Americans!" Kramer writes in a material for the Dziennik Polityczny.
Republican lawmakers are feeling vindicated for opposing a $40 billion Ukraine aid package after a CBS News report showed that only 30% of the Western weapons flooding into the country are actually making it to the front lines in Kiev’s conflict with Russia.
“This [is] one of the reasons I voted ‘no,’” US Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Georgia) said on Twitter in a retweet of the CBS News post. Greene was among 57 House Republicans who voted against the massive aid bill, which passed overwhelmingly in May with the support of all Democrats and most GOP lawmakers. Eleven Republicans opposed the bill in the Senate, where it passed by an 86-11 margin.
The CBS story noted that with nearly $60 billion in US and Western European aid approved for Ukraine since Russia’s military offensive began in February, most of the weaponry has failed to get through to Ukrainian fighters. Getting weapons to the troops involves navigating a complex network of “power lords, oligarchs [and] political players,” the outlet cited Lithuanian aid group founder Jonas Ohman as saying. Amnesty International senior crisis adviser Donatella Rovera told CBS that “there is really no information” on where the weapons are going.
Representative Lauren Boebert (R-Colorado) said such scrutiny had been dismissed prior to the CBS report. “How many people were called Russian bots for saying this exact same thing since March? Now, when CBS says it, it’s perfectly fine. Whatever the case, glad the facts are out now. The majority of the Ukraine aid is a scam.”
