"Everything went strictly ‘by the book,’ using means that were permitted by the constitution. At first there were ‘emergency decrees’ by the president of the Reich, and later a bill was passed by a two-thirds majority of the Reichstag giving the government unlimited legislative powers, perfectly in accordance with the rules for changing the constitution." -- Sebastian Haffner, Defying Hitler (paperback, Kindle, audiobook)
Goldberg made the announcement after summarizing last week’s Twitter news – the staff firings (and some rehirings), the $8 blue check fee and, finally, the banning of comedian Kathy Griffin for using Elon Musk’s name as a parody account.
“I’m getting off today because I just feel like it’s so messy, and I’m tired of now having certain kinds of attitudes blocked now getting back on. So I’m gonna get out, and if it settles down enough and I feel more comfortable maybe I’ll come back. But as of tonight, I’m done with Twitter.”
According to News 4 Jax, even Miami-Dade County – which is typically a Democrat stronghold – has seen a growing number of early Republican votes. So far, the GOP has cast 6,055 more ballots in the county than Democrats.
Pfizer’s COVID-19 shots increase the risk of heart attacks in children, according to explosive new research by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
FDA researchers conducted an analysis of the agency’s data regarding the elevated risk of heart attacks due to myocarditis.
Myocarditis is an inflammation of the heart muscle that has been linked to Covid vaccines.
Researchers concluded that there is an elevated risk of myocarditis in children as young as 12 after taking Pfizer’s Covid shot.
The study examined data from the FDA’s Biologics Effectiveness and Safety Initiative.
The researchers looked for safety signals in the data that would require further investigation.
Targeting data for children aged 5 to 17 between 2021 and mid-2022, the preprint study found that myocarditis, and the related condition pericarditis, met the threshold for a safety signal after the second and third doses of the mRNA vaccine.
Something very curious happened with the Paul Pelosi Hammer story… and no, I am not talking about the NBC story that totally and completely contradicted everything Dems and the media told us happened that night between Paul and some nudist hippy from Berkley, who magically turned into a “Trump supporter.” Although, truth be told, that NBC story was the likely catalyst for what happened next…
So what’s going on with Pelosi story now?
Well, nothing, actually.
Because this sobering story of so-called “political violence” has magically disappeared from the headlines. And it went FAST. It disappeared as fast as NBC deleted their story about Pelosi calmly answering the door when police arrived, and telling them nothing was wrong.
Yes, after breathless coverage, and likening the “Hammer Incident” of 2022 to the January 6th attempt to overthrow the US government (lol), this harrowing story about an 82-year-old man, a hammer, and a hemp-loving Trump supporter, just *poof* disappeared from the headlines as if it never even happened.
The Democrat party has become:1) The party of grooming and pedophilia. 2) The party of censorship and oppression. 3) The pro-war part trying to start nuclear war. 4) The party of food inflation, sky-high fuel prices and escalating debt. 5) The party of intolerance, racism, anti-white hatred and discrimination against Asians, Christians, Hispanics, Blacks and now even gays.
The FBI’s latest crime report shows violent crime dropped in 2021, but there are a few gaps in the data -- like New York and Los Angeles.
Police departments in the nation’s two biggest cities were among those that failed to convert to the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s new data collection system, meaning they weren’t able to submit statistics for the report released Wednesday. The FBI and Justice Department instead made estimates for those cities.
According to the new report, the number of murders rose 4.3% in 2021 from 22,000 to 22,900. That compares to a whopping 30% jump between 2019 and 2020. The FBI said violent crimes dropped because a 9% decrease in robberies offset smaller increases in murders and rapes.
The maniacs who populate MSNBC’s airwaves continue to get more far-left fringe the closer we come to the midterm elections that Republicans are expected to sweep, based on some of the most recent polling.
Most Americans do not believe coronavirus vaccines should be required by schools as a condition for children to attend in-person classes, but most Democrats believe they should be required, a Rasmussen Reports survey released Friday found.
The Democrat party has lost Hispanic and black voter support since the 2020 election, two essential demographics the party needs to retain its fragile, intersectional coalition, according to a Wall Street Journal (WSJ) poll released Monday.
The Republican National Committee would not pay legal bills for former President Donald Trump if he opts to launch a bid for the White House in 2024.
"We cannot pay legal bills for any candidate that’s announced. So these are bills that came from the Letitia James lawsuit that started while he was president," RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel told CNN Sunday. "It was voted on by our executive committee for our former president, that this was a politically motivated investigation and that’s what it’s been."
The RNC said that last November that they had been paying certain legal fees "that relate to politically motivated legal proceedings waged against President Trump," according to reporting from The Hill, including investigations by then-Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance Jr. and New York Attorney General Letitia James.
In Hawaii, feral chickens are choosing to leave the country life and make their home in the densely populated areas of Honolulu.
The state notoriously has an ongoing problem with feral chickens, largely blamed on hurricanes setting them loose, tourists feeding them and even on cock fighting operations. The growing populations are a known nuisance in the suburbs and rural areas of the different Hawaiian Islands, but now the wild fowl are infiltrating the concrete jungles of Honolulu in greater numbers.
San Francisco authorities are refusing to release the mugshot of David DePape, the suspect arrested in the Oct. 28 hammer attack of Paul Pelosi, husband of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-California).
If Washington does not secure a new nuclear deal or take military action itself, incoming Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will attack Iran, according to Tzachi Hanegbi, a longtime member of Israel’s Likud party. The former settlement minister issued the warning while speaking with Channel 12 news on Friday.
Hanegbi declared that Netanyahu “will act, in my assessment, to destroy the nuclear facilities in Iran.” He said “Israel will for the first time be facing a regime with nuclear weapons” and went on to describe the alleged Iranian threat as a “fire that’s been burning inside [Netanyahu] for more than 25 years.” Hanegbi previously claimed his country would go to war with Tehran if Joe Biden won the 2020 election and tried to return to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, the nuclear deal with Iran.
Sunday on FNC’s “Fox & Friends Weekend,” network contributor and constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley rejected claims from Democrats and other left-leaning media mouthpieces for their hyperbolic rhetoric about the end of the democracy should Republicans win majorities on Tuesday.
Turley condemned the remarks from the various Democrat politicians and media pundits as “grotesque.”
“It is not justified. It is grotesque. It is deeply offensive for anyone who is familiar with our constitutional system. We have the most successful constitutional system in the history of the world. I mean, this is a system that has weathered every challenge. It is a constitution that was written for the worst of times, not the best of times. James Madison crafted this Constitution so we didn’t have to rely on the good motivations of our leaders that we had a system – checks and balances. It has weathered every storm, and that’s why this is so unsettling, this sort of crisis of faith. And it is coming from our leaders and our leading pundits, trying to tell American citizens that our constitutional system is about to collapse.”
Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla and SpaceX and — to the chagrin of the left — the new owner of Twitter, called on independent voters to back Republicans in tomorrow’s midterm elections to contain the excesses of the Democrat party.
The German government said Wednesday that it has agreed to nationalize the country’s biggest natural gas importer, Uniper, expanding state intervention in the industry to prevent an energy shortage resulting from Russia’s war in Ukraine.
The deal with Uniper builds on a rescue package agreed to in July and features a capital increase of 8 billion euros (dollars) that Germany will finance. As part of the agreement, the government will gain a 99% stake in the energy supplier, which until now was controlled by Finland-based Fortum. The Finnish government has the largest stake in Fortum.
Germany’s economy minister, Robert Habeck, said the deal was necessary because of the significance that Uniper plays in the German gas market. It still needs to be approved by the European Commission, the European Union’s executive arm.
Uniper supplies about 40% of all gas customers in Germany, and before the war, it bought about half of its gas from Russia.
We live in a time when Opinion Pieces write themselves, when mainstream news—without realizing it—captures all the irony, duplicity, and insanity of the U.S. War Industry in its self-glorified march toward World War. Writers don’t need to warn of the worst because the worst is already happening.
The U.S. “Screaming Eagles” have been deployed three miles from Ukraine and are ready to fight the Russians. World War III beckons. God help us.
It all could have been different.
When the Soviet Union fell and the Cold War ended, NATO could have disbanded, and a new security arrangement created which included Russia. But like the Leviathan it is, NATO went in search of a new mission. It grew to a size larger than it had ever been at the height of the Cold War. All without an enemy. It found small enemies in Serbia and Afghanistan, but NATO needed a real enemy. And eventually it found one. Russia.
Technology capable of collecting solar power in space and beaming it to Earth to provide a global supply of clean and affordable energy was once considered science fiction. Now it is moving closer to reality. Through the Space-based Solar Power Project (SSPP), a team of California Institute of Technology (Caltech) researchers is working to deploy a constellation of modular spacecraft that collect sunlight, transform it into electricity, then wirelessly transmit that electricity wherever it is needed. They could even send it to places that currently have no access to reliable power.
