German Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s ‘sensational revelations’ about the British and French participating in the target acquisition of Storm Shadow/SCALP missiles employed by Ukraine have stirred the proverbial hornet’s nest.

A rally against sending Western soldiers to Ukraine has taken place in Paris, a TASS correspondent reported from the site.

"We came to say that we do not agree with the escalation of the Ukraine conflict. Lawmakers should demand this issue be debated at the parliament and put to voting as enshrined in the French constitution," Florian Philippot, leader of The Patriots party, who initiated the protest, told TASS during the rally.

The demonstrators tore up EU and NATO flags and waved French tricolors instead.

President Biden wants the G7 countries to develop a plan to eventually have Russia's frozen sovereign assets handed over Ukraine in order to support the war effort, Bloomberg has reported. Bloomberg's source have also said the US president has privately warned allies that Ukraine's collapse, and a Russian victory, would signify the international order is effectively destroyed for at least the next half-century.

France has rejected a call from US Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen to give $300 billion in frozen Russian central bank funds to Ukraine, a step that would amount to outright theft.

French President Emmanuel Macron wants to send NATO ground troops into Ukraine to defeat Russia.

Only a delusional fool could make such a crass proposal which goes to show that Macron is brain-dead. NATO troops deployed to fight Russian forces would mean an all-out war, which most likely would spiral into a nuclear conflagration.

Ironically, the French leader made headlines a while back when he labeled the US-led NATO alliance as being “brain-dead”. He’s now competing for the same epithet.
