If there is one victory we can claim here on the internet, it is that we have forever removed the ability of government to lie to their people with impunity. Absent that, there will be fewer wars.

Already we see the elites trying to roll the world back to pre-internet days,  much as the elites in Gutenberg's time tried to roll back his making books affordable to the middle classes. But like that previous effort, the attempt to reverse progress is doomed to fail. The elites will have to adjust to the new reality of a public aware and  on the lookout for their lies, or they will stop being the elites." -- Michael Rivero

House Republican says she uncovered 'smoking gun' proof NYC trying to register illegal immigrants to vote MikeRivero Tue, 12/05/2023 - 10:07

A House Republican representing part of New York City says she has "smoking gun" proof that city officials are trying to help get illegal immigrants registered to vote, something the city has staunchly denied.

Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., announced on Sunday that she had obtained a copy of a contract between New York City’s Department of Social Services and Homes for the Homeless, a nonprofit that has been contracted to build emergency migrant shelters as the border crisis depletes the city’s resources.

As I’ve been saying for some time, the rampant corruption of America’s rigged elections is even more comically obvious in 2023 — than it was in 2021 and 2020.

Just look at last week’s news from Pennsylvania, where a county official has resigned over the “failures” of the elections he supervised!

The former general registrar of Prince William County, Virginia, Michele White, was arrested in September 2022 on two felonies and a misdemeanor relating to the 2020 election:  election officer neglect duty (24.2-10001), Election officer corrupt conduct (24.2-1001) and False statement on required form (24.2-1016).

Donald Trump's call for people to "guard the vote" in 2024 has sparked concern about potential violence in next year's election.

The former president, the frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination, repeated his unfounded claims of widespread voter fraud in 2020 at a rally in Ankeny, Iowa, on Saturday.

Three months after she testified as the Democrats' star witness at the Jan. 6 congressional hearings, former Trump White House aide Cassidy Hutchinson submitted significant changes to statements and information she had provided in transcribed interviews with the U.S. House of Representatives dating to February 2022, according to an errata sheet reviewed by Just the News that was kept from the American public.

The Philippines' Commission on Elections (COMELEC) moved Wednesday to ban Smartmatic PH, a voting technology company, after the U.S. Justice Department filed criminal charges against a former COMELEC official alleging that he was bribed by Smartmatic in exchange for winning contracts in the Philippines.

Smartmatic is suing numerous media outlets and individuals for defamation related to the 2020 United States presidential election claiming that media coverage of it harmed its reputation.

An Arizona judge on Wednesday denied 2022 Republican gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake’s request to review ballot envelope signatures, concluding it “would have a corrosive effect on public confidence in the electoral process.”

In September, Maricopa County Superior Court Judge John Hannah presided over a two-day trial to decide whether Lake’s legal team could have access to review the ballot envelope signatures for the 2022 general election in the county.

GOP candidate Abe Hamadeh condemned his former opponent, Attorney General Kris Mayes, as a “third world dictator” for punishing two Cochise County supervisors over their slight delay in certifying the 2022 election results.

On Monday, Mayes indicted Cochise County Supervisors Peggy Judd and Tom Crosby with felony charges of election officer interference and conspiracy.

“Third world elections lead to third world dictators,” said Hamadeh. “Mayes is a fraud, she didn’t receive the most votes — and she knows it.”

In December 2022, Cochise County certified election results only after a judge ruled Crosby and Judd, both Republicans, were breaking the law by refusing to sign off on the vote count by the deadline.

Crosby and Judd said they weren't satisfied that the machines used to tabulate ballots were properly certified for use in elections. This prompted lawsuits including one from then-Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, a Democrat.
