"Tyranny is defined as that which is legal for the government but illegal for the citizenry." -- President Thomas Jefferson
Vladimir Putin isn’t afraid of anything that the United States or anyone else might say about him or try to accuse him of.
Instead, Putin is boldly announcing his latest round of plans related to his military ambitions worldwide. Radar Online reports that Putin says that he is planning on putting nuclear-powered super torpedo submarines in the Pacific Ocean by the end of the year.
This move is the latest in the ongoing war with Ukraine that started between Ukraine and Russia in February 2022. The 70-year-old Russian leader does not appear to be backing down or backing away from any of the plans he might have ever had. The Daily Star reports that Poseidon torpedoes will be positioned on Russia’s Belgorod and Khabarovsk nuclear submarines to put them out into the Pacific Ocean and potentially threaten Western allies that are by and large backing Ukraine in the conflict.
A new Wall Street Journal-NORC poll has found that core American values on patriotism, religion, and family no longer hold the same level of importance they once did for many of the respondents.
The survey, funded by the WSJ and conducted with NORC at the University of Chicago, a nonpartisan research organization, also revealed that the nation is divided on education and social issues such as the use of gender-neutral pronouns.
“Some 38% of respondents said patriotism was very important to them, and 39% said religion was very important. That was down sharply from when the Journal first asked the question in 1998, when 70% deemed patriotism to be very important, and 62% said so of religion,” reported the WSJ.
The WSJ continued, “The share of Americans who say that having children, involvement in their community and hard work are very important values has also fallen. Tolerance for others, deemed very important by 80% of Americans as recently as four years ago, has fallen to 58% since then.”
Police in North Carolina moved to investigate a report of a shooting at a community college.
The report in question came from the Forsyth Tech Community College at the city of Winston-Salem at aroind 10:10 a.m., prompting police officers to rush to the scene.
Shortly afterwards, the local police department announced via social media that "there is no active shooter on the campus of Forsyth Tech," adding that "there is still an active investigation on the campus."
A spokesman for the college has also told one media outlet that the campus was put on lockdown and that there were reports of two suspects.
Pentagon officials wrote in a document released earlier this month that it is entirely possible that aliens are visiting our solar system and releasing tiny probes to perform small-scale reconnaissance missions like the ones the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) conducts on other planets.
The report, authored by Dr. Sean Kirkpatrick, the director of the US Department of Defense's All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) and Avi Loeb, former chair of Harvard University's Department of Astronomy, was published on March 7 and focuses on the physical constraints of unidentified aerial phenomena.
White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre refused to answer a question on Wednesday over whether President Joe Biden’s proposed ban on some semi-automatic long guns will lead to the confiscation of millions of Americans’ guns.
The question comes after a transgender shooter murdered six people, including three children, at a Christian school in Nashville this week.
“Does the president support not just banning the sale and the manufacture of semi-automatic weapons, but further than that, confiscation?” a reporter asked Jean-Pierre.
“Let me just be very clear, what we’re talking about, AR-15s, this assault weapons ban, they are weapons of war,” Jean-Pierre asserted.
The AR-15 is the civilian version of the M-4 rifle that the U.S. military uses and is starting to phase out because it is not powerful enough to fight wars.
Police are responding to reports of shots being fired at a community college in North Carolina.
Officers have confirmed that there were reports of gunshots at Forsyth Tech, but there is not an active shooter at the scene.
Shots were reportedly fired at the Strickland Center and students were escorted to a safe area.
The Wisconsin State Assembly has passed legislation allowing illegal-alien recipients of the unconstitutional Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program to become law-enforcement officers in the state.
Last Wednesday, the Assembly voted to pass Assembly Bill 51 (A.B. 51). The vote was nearly unanimous, with only four representatives — Ty Bodden (R-Hilbert), Joy Goeben (R-Hobart), Angie Sapik (R-Lake Nebagamon), and Shae Sortwell (R-Two Rivers) — voting “No.” A.B. 51 will now be considered by the state Senate, which must also pass the bill before sending it to Governor Tony Evers. A companion bill, Senate Bill 78 (S.B. 78), has also been introduced in the Senate.
Under current state law, only U.S. citizens may become police officers and deputy sheriffs. However, if enacted, A.B. 51 and S.B. 78 would create a loophole allowing DACA recipients to become law-enforcement officers. The bills would also allow DACA recipients to participate in law-enforcement training programs.
China has just completed its first trade of liquefied natural gas (LNG) settled in yuan, the Shanghai Petroleum and Natural Gas Exchange said on Tuesday. As OilPrice notes, the Chinese state oil and gas giant CNOOC and TotalEnergies completed the first LNG trade on the exchange with settlement in the Chinese currency, the exchange said in a statement carried by Reuters.
The trade involved around 65,000 tons of LNG imported from the United Arab Emirates (because China will never admit that it is re-exporting Russian LNG even though it now does it all the time) the Shanghai Petroleum and Natural Gas Exchange added.
The French supermajor, one of the world’s top LNG traders, confirmed to Reuters that the trade involved LNG imported from the UAE, but declined to comment further on the deal.
Critics of the LGBT movement have long warned that conceding ground on issues such as gay marriage would not stem the lobby’s push for more, and a song by a gay choir from San Francisco shows they are correct.
The House voted Thursday to reverse the Biden administration’s energy policies that Republicans say are eroding U.S. energy security and raising prices for consumers – and picked up support from a small number of Democrats even though President Biden has said he would veto the bill.
The Lower Energy Costs Act passed 225-204 in a vote that saw four Democrats side with Republicans, and one Republican vote against it. The bill – which attacks everything from Biden’s rejection of the Keystone XL pipeline to restrictions on oil and gas development to proposed bans on gas stoves – also saw dozens of Democrats support GOP amendments as the bill was being considered.
Late Wednesday, 29 Democrats voted for an amendment aimed at banning Biden’s Department of Energy from imposing heavy new restrictions on gas stoves. Another amendment requiring a study on how banning gas stoves might raise electricity prices won the support of 48 Democrats.
Nashville Police Chief John Drake made an interesting disclosure on Monday about the plans of the Covenant School shooter Audrey Hale.
At a press conference, Drake said that investigators had discovered the perpetrator had planned to attack another location, but decided against that location because it had significant security.
“There was another location that was mentioned, but because of a threat assessment by the suspect of too much security, they decided not to,” Drake said. “That area was here in Nashville, so we’re continuing with that investigation as well.”
Members of Parliament in Austria got up and WALKED-OUT when Ukraine President Zelensky appeared on a giant video screen in the Parliament Chambers to give a video speech!
Here's the video showing the members walking out:
A video game featuring a transgender hero who shoots down trans critics — including priests — in order to allow players to “unleash [their] pent-up fury upon the gender-critical tyrants with an arsenal of deadly weapons” was published by a trans game developer two months before Monday’s Christian school shooting in Nashville, Tennessee.
Titled “Terfenstein 3D,” the game’s name is a play on the pejorative term “TERF” or “Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminist.”
According to Dictionary.com, it refers to an “advocate of radical feminism who believes that a trans woman’s gender identity is not legitimate and who is hostile to the inclusion of trans people and gender-diverse people in the feminist movement.”
Former CDC Director Robert Redfield recently warned that gain-of-function research and bioterrorism will inevitably bring about a future avian flu pandemic. The US government is already mapping out a suspicious new bird flu strain that is passing from wild birds to mammals and causing strange behaviors. Strangely enough, a blockbuster drug is already being readied to “treat” this upcoming avian flu. This drug is called Peramivir and goes by the trade name Rapivab.
The drug company behind the treatment, BioCryst Pharmaceuticals, has already prepared a list of common side effects for their blockbuster drug. These side effects include: “holding false beliefs that cannot be changed by fact” and “seeing, hearing, or feeling things that are not there.” The drug’s insert sheet might as well say that “other side effects resemble a zombie apocalypse.”
In the world of railroading, keeping the trains moving is paramount, and Norfolk Southern Corp. has little tolerance for late departures.
Supervisors can be penalized for trains that are ready to leave but instead sit in rail yards, according to current and former employees of the Atlanta-based railroad. Train inspection time frames are tight. Employees who seek more-stringent reviews of rail equipment or slow down transport can face discipline.
The lawyer of Jacob Chansley, the ‘QAnon Shaman’ who was involved in the events of January 6th, announced that his client would be released 14 months early from prison following revelations brought by Tucker Carlson earlier this month.
“After serving eleven months in solitary prior to his sentence being imposed, and only 16 months of his sentence thereafter, it is appropriate this gentle and intelligent young man be permitted to move forward with the next stage of what undoubtedly will be a law-abiding and enriching life,” Chansley’s lawyer told The Daily Mail.
“I applaud the decision of the US Bureau of Prison in this regard,” he added.
House Republicans say a new Fox News Digital report revealing that Hunter Biden's former business partner frequented the White House more than a dozen times when President Biden was vice president presents further evidence against the Biden family and the investigation into whether they sold White House access to foreign adversaries.
Fox News Digital reported this week that Hunter's former business partner, John Robinson "Rob" Walker, appeared to have visited the Obama White House at least 16 times during Joe's vice presidency. This is the same Rob Walker whom Republicans say paid out more than $1 million to Hunter, James Biden and Hallie Biden with alleged funds connected to a Chinese Communist Party-tied company.
"It’s no surprise that another Biden family associate frequently visited the Obama-Biden White House," Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., chairman of the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, told Fox News Digital. "We already know that another associate visited the White House almost 30 times when Joe Biden was Vice President. This is more evidence showing the Biden family enterprise centered around Joe Biden’s political career. Americans deserve answers about the Biden family’s business schemes, and we will keep pressing for transparency and accountability."
Twitter is currently suspending conservative Twitter accounts for calling out the trans Nashville shooter who killed 6 Christians in Nashville, Tennessee.
On Monday morning, 28 year old transgender Audrey Hale drove to Covenant Christian School and killed 3 students and 3 faculty.
Lindsay Watts of ABC News reported, “Nashville Chief says Audrey Hale bought 7 guns from 5 gun stores legally. Says Hale was under doctor’s care for an emotional disorder. Says parents believed she had sold the only gun she owned, but unbeknownst to them there were others.”
Starting on Tuesday, multiple top conservative Twitter users were locked out their accounts for commenting on the transgender shooter including Benny Johnson, who has well over 1 million followers on the platform.
The leadership of the Biden Administration has been a failure of epic proportions.
Joe Biden has done everything in his power to destroy our economy, our infrastructure, our freedoms, and our security.
In just three years, he’s done just that.
These failures go far beyond harming the American dream though.
According to President Donald Trump, that very dream is now dead.
In Trump’s own words, “I think our country is dead.
Tucker Carlson declared during his Tuesday monologue that the “trans movement” was the “mirror image” and therefore the “natural enemy” of Christianity – and it wasn’t long before media outlets had twisted his words to make it appear as though he was targeting people.
Carlson addressed the tragic Monday shooting that took place at The Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee, and argued that radical gender ideology was the antithesis of Christianity – and that being the case, the two could not peacefully coexist. But at no point did he name transgender people as the “enemy.”
Despite that, media and news site Mediaite ran with a headline suggesting that he had done exactly that: “Tucker Carlson Deems Trans People the ‘Natural Enemy’ of Christianity.”
Tesla chief executive Elon Musk, Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak, and hundreds of other technology leaders called for a pause on the development of powerful artificial intelligence due to the “profound risks” that the nascent systems pose to mankind.
ChatGPT, an AI language processing tool, has earned worldwide recognition in recent months as knowledge workers leverage its capabilities to execute tasks such as writing emails and computer code in a matter of seconds. The breakthrough in mass-market AI has driven a race among technology firms to integrate similar systems into their search engines and products.
An open letter from the Future of Life Institute noted that recent AI developments could significantly impact information channels and employment prospects for many industries, as well as accelerate the timeframe in which AI will be able to outsmart humans. The document called for a six-month moratorium on developing AI solutions stronger than GPT-4, the latest version of ChatGPT released by OpenAI earlier this month, as the world considers possible ramifications of the technology.
March is National Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Doctors can't emphasize enough the importance of screening. The recommendation is 45-years-old, but it some cases it can be done even earlier.
"Thirty-one weeks pregnant on my husband's birthday," that's when Amanda Webb found out she had stage 4 colon cancer. She was only 37 years old.
"I was cared for, my baby was cared for. I started chemo the very next week. A chemo port was placed and I did three rounds of chemo to start off treatment in-patient while I was pregnant."
"All I could think about is I want to be there for the baby. Thank goodness I responded well to treatment. The tumors shrunk with the chemo. I delivered my baby by c-section about three weeks early," she added.
On Wednesday's All In, host Chris Hayes chatted with faux Republican and former Florida Congressman David Jolly about how to take away the guns of law-abiding Americans because of the actions of a mentally ill transgender person who decided to go on a barbaric shooting spree at Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee. Jolly made the outrageous and obviously false claim that Republicans tolerate gun violence because "that is part of the culture of young white men."
Hayes started off this portion of the fact-free segment by remarking how "when you say the word gun violence, one of the things that always strikes me here, and you see it here, is if you say the word crime, Republicans, there’s nothing, that's too much to go after crime in the big cities."
While serious questions remain as to how they had any viewers left to lose in the first place, CNN continued hemorrhaging its dwindling audience this month.
As Breitbart’s John Nolte reported:
Compared to March of last year, CNN lost 61 percent of primetime viewers and 73 percent of viewers in the 25-54 age group. That 25-54 age group is vital because it sets advertising rates.
Throughout the entire month of March, CNN averaged only 473,000 primetime viewers and 100,000 demo viewers.
Throughout the total day in March, CNN averaged only 425,000 total viewers and 83,000 demo viewers.
